I would love to see a pic of your DIY Rift. Can you tell me what you used and I might put one together myself. What lenses, mobile, etc? And what did you incase it in? One thing I hate about the Dev kit is the resolution and that screen door effect.
I thought this was suppose to make things easy like start Vorpx and then your game? Sounds like a nightmare at the moment but I’ll reserve judgement until I have my key and try it myself. I must say I am already disappointed that I have to wait 48 hours for a key after I have paid.
What’s AVG stand because I have Avast and I am waiting for my key. I hope this works with Avast given that it is one of the most popular virus programs.
Well I hope we get some news today because it’s wrong to say you are going to release something and then not say nothing. So, is it going to be released today Ralf?
To be honest I have the Rift and I’ll be much happier when the consumer version is out. I find the Resolution on the Dev Kit and screen door effect pretty bad when it comes to playing games. That and the fact it makes me feel sick. I hope this driver somehow can alleviate some of the sickness feeling and somehow create a better picture, but I doubt it can do anything picture wise. I know on the Tuscony demo you are able to change the settings to make the image sharper and that, I just hope with this driver you have the options to do the same thing.
Well he said before end of Sept and in my reckoning it isn’t the the end of Sept. Why not just wait until the end of Sept and see? I don’t think he will release it just because people are posting here expecting it.
