ParticipantI never tried for G3D something more then 2560×1440. It does not working with 2560×1440

ParticipantThe main problem is in not working geometry mode, everything else is additional information.
So if you will found the route cause of that problem and fix it – it will be greate.

ParticipantG3D = geometry 3D ? I used 3840×2400 for plane image, not 3D
So my tests shows that there are no problem at 3072×1920 and problem starts from next 3456×2160
Also with 3072×1920 image much sharper, blur effect has gone (myabe it can be even better but vorpx stop working with higher resolution)

ParticipantI dont own a Pro2, but i read from the web that the additional software thats required to be installed can be disabled. (Install is a must, but it seems using it may be optional). So if you find a way to disable that HTC stuff and run the headset with SteamVR only, try that and see if it helps.
Can you please share where do you found that info? Will check
And also I found real problem – when I chage resolution higher then monitor supported with custom resolutions to 3840×2400 the same issue happened if 3d mode fully disabled, so it is because of the higher resolution in geometry mode.
There are any known issues with higher resoltions then monitor supports? (game work on monitor but freezed in VR)

ParticipantSad to hear that.

ParticipantHi, did you have a chance to check clean log and video?
Forux
ParticipantI sent you clean log, also there was not present in the vorpx logs crash during game launch, sent windows logs about the crash.
Also sent two video and here will post link for video how problem looks like so maybe someone else have the same kind of issue:

ParticipantAs i mentioned here I already did that, I even uninstalled all the apps – it does not matter.
Why you continue to mentioned that?
This particular issue does not have any relation to the apps.

ParticipantJust sent Lenovo log – it runs with steam VR, including supersampling, MSI afterburner and all other staffs – no problems at all!
So now all the same except headset.
Also I want to say that 150% it is recomandation from HTC for Vive Pro 2, they mentioned it needed to have best image because of distortions compensations.
Forux
ParticipantOfcourse I installed them back after figure out that they do not change nothing (MSI Afterburner and all other staffs, I do not see any reason to uninstall them again, all works with them and do not works if I uninstall them, they do not change anything).
If it some how will make logs more usable I can do that… but rly do not see why.
I will try Lenovo with Steam VR. Rly a lot of hassle =) But will do
“Last but not least please check whether all SteamVR settings are at their default values. Judging from the log files there is some SteamVR supersampling active, which looks kind of odd considering the headset’s already high native resolution.”
Actually it is default steam vr settings for my PC configuration, 150%. And yes I already sent several logs for HTC headset with and without supersampling, as mentioned in a email so it makes no differents actually – freeze remains.

ParticipantThank you, just sent email, awaiting for the help

ParticipantI need to make it during the problem occurence or at some other point? Also i can do two so you can compare – with Lenovo geometry mode during gaming when all is okay, and second one with HTC when it freeze – thats will help?

ParticipantI just tested it with my old windows mixed reality headset from Lenovo, all works perfectly. No lags, zero problems and image are sharp! Not blurry like with HTC Vive Pro 2. Also the are no problem with single frame freezed like it is in HTC Vive Pro 2 with geometry mode.
So now I am sure for 100% it is headset related problem, vorpx needs to add support for HTC Vive Pro 2 because now it is not working properly and actually better to have 2 years old headset in case you want to use vorpx… at the moment image really much better in Lenovo headset with vorpx.
Also I uninstalled nearly everything – it does not change anything – in Lenovo all is okay, in HTC Vive Pro 2 some shit happens.
So please help me to fix problem with my headset.
Forux
Participant1. Actually vorpx manual says clearly – it can affect only hook at all, if it works – then there are no problems with in a game hook. And it works, as I mentioned z-buffer mode working. Also i tired to close everything exceptr VR and the game – the same problem with geometry mode persist so it is definitly a problem specificly for this headset, because I can not find nothing close to this problem reported before with different headsets.
So please help me to solve this.
2. Okay, I will try this.
Forux
ParticipantHi,
I own Vive Pro 2 and it is really good headset. No other headset feels that real with price less then 3k so far.
But.
But it does not work properly with vorpx! Image looks blurry with z-buffer mods, geometry mod not working.
When I play Skyrim or other games that must work perfectly with vorpx next happaned:
1. Screen on PC works okay, no freeze and good fps.
2. Inside VR glasses image freezed on single frame and nothing happens. So guys from vorpx must or fix their software or add message that they does not support this glasses to not mislead.
