GojakParticipant
Is there a setting to kind of “push” the screen back if you will. It can feel too close sometimes. I don’t mind if I catch some of the boarder either, it’s not gonna kill the experience for me.
GojakParticipantWhat I did find out is that you can toggle edge peak by just doing a single fast click on the middle mouse button. Then go back to normal by tapping it again. For whatever reason I was under the impression the button had to be held down, and you can do it that way if you want. But toggling makes it a lot easier for games with a lot of menus such as Fallout 76 that you use a lot.
GojakParticipantI tried to bind the edge peek to a thumb button on my mouse. It didn’t work…
GojakParticipantYeah, it might be a better idea to just change the edge peak key. Middle mouse button doesn’t work well for it. At least for Fallout 76.
GojakParticipantI’ve heard it’s better to play these games in a 4:3 or 5:4 aspect ratio. Is this correct?
GojakParticipantOkay, never mind. I was trying to do it through virtual desktop, and I needed to be using Oculus Link.
GojakParticipantOne final question (I hope). When I get in game the mouse cursor seems “bound” somewhat. For example, when I open the pip boy, the cursor seems to hit some kind of invisible “wall” and I can’t move it higher in order to select the stats, inventory, data, radio sections of the pip boy. When playing the game on monitor, the cursor will go anywhere on screen. But when using VorpX it goes almost everywhere, but like I said it seems to hit these invisible “walls”, and I can’t move it beyond them even though I should be able to.
GojakParticipantDoesn’t cinema mode defeat the purpose of VorpX? Isn’t it the same as playing in theater mode? Also what does immersive do?
GojakParticipantOkay, I figured out audio. However, when in game the edges of the screen are too far out of my field of vision. For example, the quest tracker is on the top right.
But, if I look that direction I really can’t see it well and it’s very blurry. What setting do I need to adjust to correct this?GojakParticipantWhat is really odd, is if I press the menu button on the VR controller to bring up the menu, the audio comes back on. But when I close the menu, no audio again.
GojakParticipantFor some reason I can’t get audio to play through the VR device. Like as the game loads from the Desktop Viewer I can hear, but when it goes to fullscreen in game the audio cuts off.
