Hi Ralf, New update broke Vorpx.

Ever since the new update automatically downloaded and installed, VorpX no longer works.
When I click to start it as before, get Error code 5.

It worked a few times, but only the desktop worked. I thought wonderful but then when I opened the VOrpx menu, the cursor didn’t go to it.

Now it does not work at all and I get the message that it cannot do its magic.

Is there any way I can get the previous version back. My windows restore has never worked very well.

    Thanks

Lately, I often have the same thoughts about chipping-in more for your software. Vorpx is the only reason I keep playing Elder Scrolls Online. I even thought of getting another copy and installing on my other computer just to contribute. The improvements over the years have resulted in near perfection. It is so much better quality/experience from earlier versions and I look forward to updates.

I use Vive Pro2 every day with Vorpx and it works great. I have upgraded to a 3080 GPU (I think that is necessary because 1080 frame rates were too slow). For best results I use windowed game with a custom resolution 2560×1440 (you need to use a DVI cable input to your display monitor)(create one with Nvidia Control panel)set in the game (not on the desktop)and then resize the window smaller to up the frame rates. As you make the window smaller, the frame rate rises but the resolution decreases. I will never be able to use the full resolution of my Vive pro due to frame rate limitations, but by gradually reducing the size of the window untill you get an acceptable frame rate, you get the max you can for your gpu. I am very satisfied with Vorpx with Vive pro2.

Elder Scrolls Online Epic Vorpx quality:

    HTC Vive Pro2
    Nvidia 3080 12G GPU
    Six core AMD CPU

I have achieved really stunning results with ESO recently with Vorpx and above-listed hardware. Thanks Ralf! But I don’t see a way to produce a profile to share from in-game. If I downloaded profile, it will erase my settings right? The profiles available don’t work as well.

I get 90 FPS in most areas of the game. In some socially busy areas of the game, some glitchy dungeons and large group trials, I switch from Geometry to Z-Normal due to slowing frame rates.

I think the most important part of any profile is a huge investment in hardware. I have had VR headsets from day one, but I now have:

    HTC Vive Pro2
    Nvidia 3080 12G GPU
    Six core AMD CPU

    Best yet!
