MoroParticipant
That doesn’t work and sometimes the VR flickers constantly before crashing. When it does work, it doesn’t last long because it keeps switching back to that blue screen. Then I have to restart VR again. Any ideas?
MoroParticipantRalf, is there a fix for this? Pretty annoying to play the game when VR keeps cutting out all the time.
MoroParticipantit’s good when it works and scary as hell. Although sometimes my resi client just crashes and refuses to start and it gives me an openVR error message what ever that means. Also the VR has a habit of cutting out, then it just switches back to that blue screen, so I have to exit VR and try again.
MoroParticipantWell atleast I’m not alone, but VR was the reason I got Resident Evil 7, so kinda sucks it is not working properly. Hope there is a fix.
MoroParticipantJust got in the house and it did it again. When it went to the blue screen it said “Now_playing_String” in a box and it hung. The game is still running. It’s just the VR which keeps cutting out for some reason. It appears to run okay when it does work.
MoroParticipantOkay thanks. Didn’t realise you could request one like that.
MoroParticipantSorry no I haven’t done that yet. Another thing bugging me about Skyrim. The HUD seems to be all the way on the left and right making it hard to see. When I loot a corpse it is really hard to see it. Thanks for all the help
MoroParticipantAlthough I did have the zoomed in effect. Setting the fov to 120 via the in game console seemed to have fixed that, but I am getting a bit of motion sickness. Guess that is a separate issue. I am using a RE7 demo profile, and everything looks so zoomed in. Unlike Skyrim I can’t seem to find a way to adjust the fov. No way to open the console in game and in the options the fov only goes up to 90.
MoroParticipantOkay I feel like an idiot. I had the device selected to Oculus Rift, not HTC vive. Working now.
MoroParticipantI just did that and now when I launch it runs at like 2 fps and nothing shows on my VR headset.
