ParticipantI set the 3d mode to Z-Normal/z-adaptive and it seemed to work for a while.
I’ve never been impressed with zdepth mode, has anyone gotten it work with true Geometry 3D?
I’m also wondering if it’s worth trying to use dx12 mode but with the CyberPunk profile?

Participant*to clarify, here is a good article…
https://developer.nvidia.com/vrworks/graphics/vrsli
Yes, true “Split Frame SLI” (where the left and right eye are rendered by each GPU) would require some monkeying with the game/VorpX. Although you would think it’s theoretically possible, since VorpX is already hijacking the pipeline… but that’s not what I’m talking about here.
I’m just talking about “Alternating Frame SLI” (where each gpu renders every other frame). I don’t believe this requires any special engine code, and should just work with any game (including VorpX).
Basically you’re trading slight latency for framerate, but the higher the framerate, the less latency, so it CAN work in certain situations (especially with brain/time warp smoothing out head movement).

ParticipantGreat news!
Like I said, some of these recent mods have amazing potential. I really think WoW could be the killer app VR has been waiting for.
Thanks bud!

ParticipantOk tried a different usb hub, and the issue went away. Still has something to do with vorpx, since it is the only app that causes the hub to freak out, but I guess this isn’t a high priority unless others complain about the same issue.
FYI the hub in question is this one here…
A 5 dollar office depot hub works fine no issues.
