what happens when you start to launch wow with vorpx ?
It opens Steam VR and shows Steam VR on my headset… but the WoW window isn’t head tracking. It’s just left to right window stretched in front of me.
xilcParticipantfor wow use direct 11 legacy, else it wont work.
It’s currently set to direct 11 legacy, and windowed. Should it be fullscreen?
Here’s what I see when I open up WoW with Vorpx running and following all of the instructions: https://i.imgur.com/luNlGoO.png
I’m using direct x 11 legacy, windowed mode, Vorpx running, Virtual desktop, SteamVR is fully working… Not sure what’s missing

xilcParticipant@ xilc: With the Link cable there is no need for using SteamVR with a Quest usually except for some DX12 games. Try to run vorpX in native Oculus mode by selecting Oculus as your headset type in the vorpX config app.
SteamVR is only needed for Virtual Desktop. In that case you have to select SteamVR as headset type in the vorpX config app AND enable SteamVR capturing in Virtual Desktop.

Hi — I tried this, and it works for Left 4 Dead 2, Fallout 4… Just not World of Warcraft. Is this game no longer supported?
xilcParticipantI understand. Immersive VR works for me then. Thanks for the help, Ralf! :D I’m all set.
xilcParticipantActually, I made some slight progress. Pressing delete in game has allowed me to select ‘full VR mode’ with geometry as the 3d (not sure which I need). But the issue now is that it’s not 3D all around. It’s just a fixed screen that you can’t see the edges of.
In other words, when I look in any direction, my camera doesn’t move. It just moves the ‘screen’ to that area which means my screen in the headset is sliding all over with no camera movement in game :(
xilcParticipantThis topic here actually sums up my issue. I’m using direct x 11 legacy window mode. Seems to not be sufficient enough to fix the 3d. Anything else I could try @Ralf?
