Curious if anyone here has tried using the RE2 Remake profile on this yet?
Apr 5, 2020 at 12:05am #193627capnkimoParticipanti wanna know too.
except the 1st person mode doesn’t concern me. would like impressions of the standard 3rd person mode, if the 3D and geometry is good.Apr 7, 2020 at 2:58pm #193695offallParticipantyes, RE2 works, same engine, why not this working
Apr 7, 2020 at 3:28pm #193696zig11727ParticipantDid you edit the ini file for DX11 it defaults to DX12 this why VorpX isn’t working
Apr 7, 2020 at 6:29pm #193699ArniVRParticipantThe true 3D doesn’t work. As i understood, only Ralf can make the fix for the true 3D
Apr 7, 2020 at 7:23pm #193701zig11727ParticipantI just tested RE3 with VorpX and it works fine follow the steps below,
Here what I did
In the directory where the game is installed edit the file re3_config.iniUnder [RenderConfig]
PCDXver=DirectX12 to
PCDXver=DirectX11Launch VorpX
Goto ResidentEvil 2 profile and create a profile based on this one rename the profile and assign the Re3.exe to the newly created profile launch the game and it the same as Ralf made profile.Apr 7, 2020 at 8:03pm #193706ArniVRParticipantI did it the same way. But true 3D doesn’t work. There is not any image in the right eye!
Apr 7, 2020 at 8:23pm #193707zig11727ParticipantIt works fine on my oculus, index and Hp Reverb it renders in 3D just like Resident Evil 2 true 3D. I just played 20 minutes or so and I’m at the part where you open the first safe for the scope.
I’m using NVidia 445.78 drivers.
My settings in are
RenderMode Normal
Refresh Rate 59.94
Frame Rate 60
Resolution which works the best is 1920 x 1080Apr 8, 2020 at 2:28am #193713ArniVRParticipantWhat type of stereo 3D do you have on the next line:
It should be: “3D reconstruction – GEOMETRY”
Could you upload your profile in the cloud?Apr 8, 2020 at 10:17am #193715zig11727Participant@AmiVR
The profile is G3D the same as RE2 and it’s uploaded to the cloud.
Apr 8, 2020 at 9:06pm #193724ArniVRParticipant@AmiVR
The profile is G3D the same as RE2 and it’s uploaded to the cloud.
I tried your profile. But result is the same. There is a broken image in the right eye.
3D in RE2 works perfect!Apr 8, 2020 at 9:40pm #193725zig11727ParticipantIt works fine on the three headsets I tested download the other RE3 user’s profile from the cloud and see if you have the same problem.
Rendering Mode must be set to normal in the game options
What headset are you using ?
I wish could help more but I’m out of suggestions.
Apr 8, 2020 at 10:47pm #193727ArniVRParticipantI play on the Valve Index. But it does’t matter.
All other games work for me in geometry 3D, if it’s supported.
Rendering Mode – normal
Game launched in DX11
60 frames
The image in the right eye does’t work correctly. This effect is observed in all games on RE Engine in 3D without correction. I know this from experience using 3D VISIONApr 8, 2020 at 11:13pm #193729zig11727ParticipantHow does it work on my index, rift-s and hp reverb not yours also did you try the other user’s RE3 profile on the cloud ?
Apr 9, 2020 at 2:32am #193730ArniVRParticipantYes. There is one more profile in the cloud – Resident Evil 3 [cristov82] Game works, but not true 3D
Description: window full screen and dx11 in game setting and hdr in game setting must be off, 3D work only with Z-normal and Z-adaptative, geometry not function correctYour profile is better! It works with Full screen
