I have to say, i completely see the potential to this software, however I’ve not been able to get it right.

Had some times where it looked great and then it just went wrong.

Been trying to set up alien isolation, just can’t get it right.

Have just got an EVGA 1080 so with a little more grunt i may be ok.

I think there should be sections for each device, DK1 / 2 / CV and Vive.

I’ve got the CV and some of the tweaks and fixes for DK2 simply don’t work on the CV.

Slenderman is a prime example, bought the newest one and it crashes prior to the game loading the first part, intro loads but not the game, have tried a lot of settings, when googling it, i always find fixes for the DK2 not CV.

We need a few screen shots of the settings so people can simply copy them when they need to, lol how do you grab a screen shot of whats on the oculus? :)

I’ve tried most of the settings on alien, the writing on the far left bottom corner is always out of shot, nausea kicks in quite a bit too which is a bit crap.

Also does anyone get jitter? I’ve tried all 3D types, Geometry has been the best so far, on launch it’s perfect but then get’s progressively worse.

Bought the game just for the Oculus too, such a shame they didn’t implement it properly, they’d have sold a truckload of games on steam.

It’s also only £9 on cdkeyhouse too, beats £30 on steam :)

I’ll try to get my settings so we can compare too.

EDIT: Is there anywhere we can pull all settings from Vorpx so we can compare easier? I’ve just tried by taking the oculus on and off and it took ages, got to the third page and thought there must be an easier way to do this.

Not sure if you got an answer to this.

Within vorpx simply press delete to show the settings then select FOV and slide it to 1.00, you can also move the screen in and out by going in game and holding shift then rolling the mouse scroller forwards.

I have my own issues with this game with jitter etc.

Shame as it could be good.

    Hi Mate,

Thanks for getting back to me, i sort of did get it up and running and less zoomed in, you can hold shift and roll the mouse ball to change zoom levels, this sort of fixes a few things, also the type of 3D used and a few other options, lowering the resolution and popping it in window mode, i’ll keep on tweaking it and hopefully will find the sweet spot.

I haven’t read up on it as of yet, i’ll do what i can with what i’m learning off my own back, until i can’t better it vs what other people are getting.

I’ll get there in the end and will then start posting profiles for all my games.

    Cheers.
