Yep, thanks for the info!!
I played the VR-DLC (Blood Ties) and it was absolutely fucking awesome! :-)
dlderParticipantHi, thanks for responding… yeah, I did all those things; several times. Even restarted my PC to no avail.
But after a lot more restarting Steam/VorpX it worked again, even quitting and starting the game anew was possible and VorpX could hook into the game…
Really weird; like I said: really cool software for anyone owning VR, but so finicky. It only works if your lucky it seems.
Oh well, lets try the next game^^
dlderParticipantAnd I didn’t find any “debug log setting”, so here are the err/wrn from the normal log file:
ERR: OpenVRDevice: OpenVR init exception.WRN: Loading pre 17.3.0 G3D settings (0.0.0)
WRN: D3D11 Base: No DeviceContext created, not hooking device

dlderParticipantAs I also just installed and tried Rise of the Tomb Raider (fist in 2D, then in 3DVision2 (which looks already effin awesome!^^), I tried it with the newest VorpX (no SteamVR beta) and get the same error mentioned above.
The error message itself comes from VorpX though, not from SteamVR.And VorpX is working fine, as I just tried FEAR2 again after about a year and surprise(!), this game – which didn’t work before(!) – runs now like a charm :-)
dlderParticipantFor anyone that’s interested: FEAR2 is working now!!! And it’s so fucking AWESOME!!!
dlderParticipantI got an i7-4770K @4.5GHz
And if I remember correctly; the CPU doesn’t really do all that much. Does anyone with an ATI card have the same problem?
Maybe it’s nVidia/Fear2-Engine related…dlderParticipantAny infos on the non-existing compatibility of F.E.A.R.2 ?
dlderParticipantWell, this mod IS pretty awesome, but I gotta say… I don’t know if I can get used to the FP controls… driving is a blast!
But running and gunning; eh…
And one still cannot see the UI (minimap and the like). But this will be perfekt for just “after-game-mayhem” :-)
dlderParticipantWill try it out today :-)
dlderParticipantOk, as I’m now just testing all of it, there are some problems I don’t yet know on how to “work around”…
1) with geometry 3D: how do you use the sights? I’ve already lowered the 3D value to 0.35 but even with that, the left and right image are so different, that I need to aim in the middle of the left and the right image (I hope you know what I mean)
-> how does one use sights in 3D?2) pretty much nothing of the UI is visible; like the minimap, as it’s out of the field of view (so to say); I’d need to always quickly switch back to cinema mode to know where to drive…
3) there seems to be a bug/problem when sitting in a car I can always see a small strip of the outside world, instead of the interior model of the car?
I’ve tried several FoV settings (ingame and vorpx) but nothing workedAny suggestions for these issues?
Thanks!dlderParticipantWell, I have to admit: I didn’t think it would help at all, but >re-installing GTA5< actually worked!!
Now it doesn’t crash any longer as soon as the game start, but loads perfectly into story mode :-)thx for the suggestion! I’d never have done that…
dlderParticipantOk, gtavr had one good tip:
NOTE: If you’re having issues with the mod crashing on activation, launch GTA V as administrator
I did this (and starting VorpX as admin) but to no avail :-\I’ll try re-installing it from scratch then…
dlderParticipant-> 1.
That’s what I thought, as both are injectors. For that reason I’ve never used ENB in GTA5-> 2.
sounds interesting; gonna check it out :-)-> 3.
Nope, I’ve never played with mods or ENB. And I still cannot use VoprX.
I could try re-installing that game, but it would take really long with my internet connection :-(dlderParticipantOk, with the new updated versions (openiv and scripthook) mods do work.
VorpX however does not…
