    Adding contacts in chat for Sc can be problematic. The only way to guarantee success is to look up some ones stats and add from there. Trying to do it in game or from account never works anymore, just turns up an error of contact list being full.

    There is if you are willing to use Restream Chat. I use it for both Twitch and youtube when streaming. then I go the extra step and turn on text to speech. I no longer need to see the chat as I can hear the text to speech translation of every comment or question.

    Just scan through this live stream and you can hear comments and questions when they are made.

    No, It is something CIG did with code. You will just have to use z buffer till next Sc patch. I run all my games at 2160 X 1200 just to use VorpX at best HMD res. What ever change they made also resets the position of everything open on my desktop when i leave or tab out of game. I just have not taken time to see if I could get it working again. Most likely just needs an off or on switch for something in a CFG file. I personally do not really loose much 3d in z buffer so just not a priority for me to search out the cause. :)

    Here is a possible fix for the Desktop viewer and the swapchain error. If you are using MSI Afterburner, Turn it off and try and start the Desktop Viewer again. In fact, if you are using any software comparable to it, try turning it off too.

    I found the culprit Ralf. MSI Afterburner is causing the conflict. I been using it since I bought my MSI Nividia card. VorpX always worked with it before. Obviosly the old 16. version of VorpX did not have the same issue with MSI afterburner. So if you see that error in the future, just tell them to turn of MSI afterburner and see if that fixes the Desktop viewer issue.

    do not use the desktop viewer. download the star citizen(vorpx) profile from cloud.
    Then just start Star citizen, it will hook on its own. Should not matter where anything is installed. Hope that helps.
    If can not hook, if you are running SC as admin may have to run vorpx as admin too.

    Yes it does, in all 3 modes. Does not take much Strength. I think I have it set at .4 and depth was great.

    Oh, and Star citizen works fine, Just the viewer will not load up for anything. not even just the desktop. I tried everything I could think of. even reinstalled the Oculus software. Have not tried reinstalling the Vorpx software, but did not really want to try that as not sure how that will work.

    No, just single monitor. I will double check that it has not changed anything on the sly. If it helps. The Error code it give says error 301 what ever that means.

    Hi Ralf
    I can not seem to get the desktop viewer working. I am not using the Oculus beta. I am using the classic version. the reason being, is most the time if I use the new dash, it cuts off my monitor. Do I need to be using Dash for the viewer to work now?

    Have some one subscribed to my utube channel that has. Make sure you run SC in HMD native resolution to get some 3D depth. that being 2160×1200 or 1080×1200 if you didnt know. both work will work.

    be sure your flying with joystick or gamepad though. mouse will no longer control ship movement

    in options, go to keybindings keyboard/mouse
    click advanced controls
    click flight movement
    click yaw. it will have mouse x axis bound. highlight it and click left mouse button to unbind.
    now go to pitch, do the same thing only it will be y axis. Now mouse and head tracking will no longer be bound to movement

    if you are in immersion mode no zoom. can only change zoom setting in cinema or full vr mode. and yes these settings are in the vorpX in game menu settings. Delete key is keyboard shortcut for vorpX menu.
