So did you have to remove all the stuff to get the real mod working.I have gta5 working on vorpx and it works well.I tried to get real mod working but it wouldn’t load.Rather just leave it be.Ralf worked very hard to get gta5 working again after the rockstar update broke it.My only dilemma now is trying to accomplish finding a solution to getting 3d reconstruction working for rdr2.

I have wmr and Ralf said early on that wmr wasn’t working in rdr2. Not saying again but my yesterday worked and hooked yet net every vital vr element.

I have used vorpx for gta5.Playing it with vorpx for like five years.Yes I have had a good and bad history with it too.Mostly good and now it seems to be very well.The pc boots the game and hooks it and starts fine.Those many mods at times can conflict it too.Tell you the truth of you start a fresh install you may have less issues.Ralf of course is the Einstein who designed this possibility.Make sure to use the gtavr mod that puts the game in full motion control.This is not lukeross’ real mod.Lukeross mod is exclusive for oculus only and doesn’t use vorpx.If you have both real mod and the gtavr files together it won’t start.I had so much trouble too starting up gta5 in vr.Had too wipe my pc at times and reinstall fresh.First try that with gta5.Only uninstalling and reinstalling didn’t always work for me.You have to delete all the gta5 files in the steam folder.Ralf assisted me and can most liking assist you too.But what got it working every time was doing that.A fresh full wipe.

Yes it’s possible with vrdesktop and a gaming pc.If course with a quest too.Actually to be honest it works better with virtual desktop than quest link cable connect that was recently updated.For me the best,fast and smoothest experience is using my first gen odyssey,second is in virtual desktop and third is in the quest link cable update.So the second best is wireless.You need the sidequest too to load virtual desktop since the oculus store wouldn’t allow the streamvr option on virtual desktop to be released in their store.

You can remove my many recent discussions due to me having this 3d reconstruction issue.Just spending so much time trying to get it to work and money blown on a game I bought only to use with vorpx.

I got quest via desktop working,quest via pc link and wmr all booting up rdr2 and hook vorpx with default game settings too but all have no 3d view.Can you put me in the right direction ?

Could the 3d not launching but blacking out my screen be because the game is on the external e/drive ?

Not sure what fixed this but it boots and hooks easily just now to crack this next issue of the 3d appearing.

So with epic launcher I cant launch the game but through epic.Tried to rename the exe file and use a gta 5 profile to launch the game.It only launches from epic.

I did all those settings and resets and the game starts,vorpx hooks but no 3d rendering at all.It is the same bars and scrambled screen.

Thanks and the good and bad news is…I tried to refund the game,again but stuck with it now.So I have it to keep and hopefully can try these new suggestions to get it working.
