Hi All,
I’m also trying to make Planet Coaster work in 3D. Already managed to hook in and modify G3D settings in the game but so far only managed to accomplish some 3D effects on coaster tracks, paths and objects. Only playing with the HUD settings seems to do something, is there a reason why other settings are not doing anything on the shaders? Anyone?
Regards,
TCould you please share your profile? I tried the only PlanetCoaster cloud profile available and it doesn’t even hook for me
makovanParticipantyes just got it working then….. semi good support…. needs a bit of tweaking and no head tracking
but good feeling overall riding a massive coaster

makovanParticipantAny chance we could get G3D working for this?
makovanParticipantUsing one of the FOV options in the Direct VR Scan menu helped (increasing the FOV scale). It still looks kind of off but at this point I don’t think the FOV is the problem, I’m guessing it’s just because this game doesn’t have geometry 3d so it looks a bit weird compared to e.g. Bioshock. Would be really cool to have full VR support for this game, I think it’s one of the better fps games released in recent years.
makovanParticipantIt didn’t work for me at first, for some reason vorpx wasn’t hooking up to the game so I copied the existing profile and manually selected the journey exe file (but had to rename it because vorpx was saying a profile already existed for that process). Then it hooked up properly, works great even in full VR mode, just reduce head tracking sensitivity because it’s pretty high and you can also max out the enhanced FOV option so the camera isn’t too close.
