Reinstalling seemed to do the trick, its ok now.
I do from time to time add and remove a memory stick, would this cause the problem?Oct 3, 2013 at 3:06am in reply to: GTA IV w/ ENB? #10748
Just had a quick look in the flight sim thread and Ralf stated that VorpX is not compatible with d3d9.dll. Looks like you are going to have to choose whether you want to play with ENB or the Rift, but not both.Oct 3, 2013 at 3:04am in reply to: GTA IV w/ ENB? #10747
No fix. I think Ralf has posted some info about it in one for the flight simulator threads on this forum.
To be fair to Ralf, it is mentioned that you would receive your key within 48hrs
People were posting after only a few hours asking what is taking so long……
So many people have no patience anymore..Oct 1, 2013 at 11:35pm in reply to: Whats the motion sickness like with this driver? #10634
That is a difficult and almost impossible question to answer. Everybody is different. Some people gets bad motion sickness (you) and others do not. Others used to get motion sickness but now they do not (me) and there are probably others which have never had it.
You will just have to try it out for yourself and see how it works for you. I felt no change.Oct 1, 2013 at 11:18pm in reply to: Feature sugestion: Mouse look alternative. #10632
Well, the main reason I asked was because I would love to play Train Simulator 2014 in the Rift. It already looks great in the Rift albeit in 2D. I also have a RailDriver desktop train controller so having a feature like that would make me a very very happy man. Looks like I will have to resort to another technique to look around the virtual cab with the Rift.Oct 1, 2013 at 11:09pm in reply to: Flight Simulator X, not working #10630
Already checked that Shift+O is already set properly and it was. Just the head tracking just does not work, even though the head tracking does move the mouse cursor like it should.Oct 1, 2013 at 10:11pm in reply to: Flight Simulator X, not working #10620
after you removed the dll did you boot it up to see the results? If so what worked and what didn’t?Oct 1, 2013 at 9:03pm in reply to: Flight Simulator X, not working #10611
Shift+O works fine in normal non VorpX mode. I also do not have the d3d9.dll.Oct 1, 2013 at 8:58pm in reply to: Flight Simulator X, not working #10610
FS works fine for me, except for one thing. Head Tracking. And yes, free look mode is the default Shift+O. Well the head tracking is working because the mouse moves when I move my head, just when I press Shift+O (shift+(oh)) it does not work.
Not sure what is going on here. Any help?Oct 1, 2013 at 6:05pm in reply to: Nothing works for me… #10593
If you have FacetrackNoIR or FreeTrack then delete it, it has been known to cause other problems (non VorpX related). It has to be completely removed from the system. It doesn’t have to be running to cause problems, just having it on the system can cause problems.
It may not work but its worth a try.
