Reinstalling seemed to do the trick, its ok now.
I do from time to time add and remove a memory stick, would this cause the problem?
nvstewartParticipantJust had a quick look in the flight sim thread and Ralf stated that VorpX is not compatible with d3d9.dll. Looks like you are going to have to choose whether you want to play with ENB or the Rift, but not both.
nvstewartParticipantNo fix. I think Ralf has posted some info about it in one for the flight simulator threads on this forum.
nvstewartParticipantTo be fair to Ralf, it is mentioned that you would receive your key within 48hrs
People were posting after only a few hours asking what is taking so long……
So many people have no patience anymore..
nvstewartParticipantThat is a difficult and almost impossible question to answer. Everybody is different. Some people gets bad motion sickness (you) and others do not. Others used to get motion sickness but now they do not (me) and there are probably others which have never had it.
You will just have to try it out for yourself and see how it works for you. I felt no change.
nvstewartParticipantlol
Well, the main reason I asked was because I would love to play Train Simulator 2014 in the Rift. It already looks great in the Rift albeit in 2D. I also have a RailDriver desktop train controller so having a feature like that would make me a very very happy man. Looks like I will have to resort to another technique to look around the virtual cab with the Rift.
nvstewartParticipantAlready checked that Shift+O is already set properly and it was. Just the head tracking just does not work, even though the head tracking does move the mouse cursor like it should.
nvstewartParticipantafter you removed the dll did you boot it up to see the results? If so what worked and what didn’t?
nvstewartParticipantShift+O works fine in normal non VorpX mode. I also do not have the d3d9.dll.
nvstewartParticipantFS works fine for me, except for one thing. Head Tracking. And yes, free look mode is the default Shift+O. Well the head tracking is working because the mouse moves when I move my head, just when I press Shift+O (shift+(oh)) it does not work.
Not sure what is going on here. Any help?
nvstewartParticipantIf you have FacetrackNoIR or FreeTrack then delete it, it has been known to cause other problems (non VorpX related). It has to be completely removed from the system. It doesn’t have to be running to cause problems, just having it on the system can cause problems.
It may not work but its worth a try.
