Participantit’s actually the default cursor, but I’ve found the culprit. In Windows Settings app, at Mouse pointer there are 3 settings: white, black and inverted.
I’ve changed it to white and now the cursor in the headset game menu is white
the inverted setting would be the best choice in my opinion, as it will be visible on every possible background in Windows, but apparently it will be displayed as black by Vorpx in game menus in certain conditions, probablyThe situation is solved, thank you
i still think that option would be a good idea, but it may be just a minor tweak, I don’t knowThank you, Ralf!

ParticipantThank you for answering, Ralf
It’s not a black square, it’s a normal mouse cursor, but black; I can see it in game menus where there’s white color
I changed the Windows theme to black wherever I could – like the Windows Settings app and so on. My Window mouse cursor is adaptive, it changes color depending on its background. It’s one of the native cursors in WindowsDoes my info change anything?
Maybe it would help if there was a checkbox for Vorpx whether to capture the Windows cursor or not? That could cover all sorts of situations like thisThank you

ParticipantThat’s a great idea, I would definitely support it through Patreon

ParticipantI subscribe to this, I’d like to know at least that Vorpx is doing fine, because it’s a fantastic piece of software and I’d like to use it all my life
Also Ralf is a great developer, we’re pretty lucky he’s so involved in this.I don’t think we’re gonna find out, though

ParticipantI had the same issue today, the game refused to launch even with Bit Defender shut down completely. The only thing that worked was starting vorpx after I launched the Rockstar client – I was used to keeping vorpx launched
maybe it will help somebody somedaypierre_montaigne
Participantafter playing with MGE-XE Fov the world scale got a lot better
i still have a lot of jitter from the tracking, even with the safe setting
is there a recommended setting somewhere?thx
pierre_montaigne
Participantfull tracking resumed correctly after a game restart
i’ll look into the other stuff you mentioned and post backthank you, sir!

Participantyes, you’re right. It works with MGE
do you have any suggeston for vertical head tracking? it only tracks the X axis
can the world scale be adjusted? it’s very big
it has something to do with the FOV, right?
i tried fiddling with the FOV in vorpx menu, but I don’t see much differencei’m sorry, you must have talked about these things many times
thank youpierre_montaigne
Participanthello
yes, I’ve tried that version. The VR is fully rendered, but my controllers (Vive Cosmos) are not supported, nor the xbox controller
I just stood there in the ship’s prison :)
thank you -
