Thanks for looking into this. I have progressed the game somewhat by playing traditionally but I still get the same problem when I try to play in VR. I am currently reinstalling to make sure I have not changed something somewhere that I shouldn’t have done…
I am using the tpcast wireless HMD adapter (after changing the software it runs to the open source software, which actually works!). I don’t see how this would affect this in any way but it is the only thing I can think of that will be different from the majority of people playing this.tom69ParticipantNo problem – I completely understand. I appreciate you even considering it :)
tom69ParticipantThanks, yes you are right but this can be disabled in the game settings. VorpX actually gives you a heads-up about this and I have definitely disabled it. VorpX is hooking into the game and I see glorious VR for a second or two before it freezes and crashes
tom69ParticipantHi All,
I am having a very similar issue. Within seconds (normally 1-2 seconds) of starting the game it crashes to desktop. I have the following specs and have had no issue running much more demanding games in VR through VorpX:
– i7-7700K @4.2GHz
– 32GB RAM
– GTX 1080
– Oculus RiftI have tried playing about with the settings and running at the lowest possible resolution and graphics settings with optimisations off and on. I’m not sure what is the best setting for CPU cores and RAM usage for testing purposes but have also played around with different settings for these. It all makes no difference…
Anyone have any other ideas I can try?
Thanks

I’ve just rolled back to the previous settings as suggested in earlier posts but now the game world is really small, as if I have gone into a hobbit world!!
Is this normal or more likely to do with my settings? How do I go back to default settings if this is the case? -
