    For the blurry Image and the FOV in FullVR

    C:\Users\(user)\Documents\My Games\Ghost Recon Breakpoint\GRB.ini

    SharpenLevel=2.00000

    FOV=2.13000

    AutoFOV is still activated, but the most of the time you will get a bigger FOV with this setting.

    For Xbox Gamepad Problem in FullVR

    Deactivate the Gamepad Override in the vorpx ingame menu and set the Headtracking to 0

    (Update)

    Ghost Recon Breakpoint WeMod Community Battleye BYPASS LAUNCHER

    Download: (Google is your Friend !)

    1. Rename GRB_BE.exe in main game directory to GRB_BE.exe.bak
    2. Place the Battleye Bypass launcher into the main game directory

    (For myself i still use the Uplay start argument “/belaunch -be” and i uninstalled and deleted any Battleye from windows and i deleted all Battleye associated files stored in the “C:\Users” folders (Documents, Local, Roaming etc.) and in the “C:\ProgramData” folder)

    (Disclaimer)
    This is the Bypass only, the trainer an cheats are offered separately ! For Vorpx you don’t need the trainer files. If you will start any multiplayer and use the trainer and cheats, you will get banned. Battleye is still running on the servers of ubi, and many users get banned already using the trainer, because the game is always online and will register any cheat.

    Use even the bypass only for your own risk to get banned.

    Hmm, I thought we had another day with the beta. I did get some more time in before it ended though to make additional profile fixes. You can re-download the profile and hopefully be set for launch day.

    It cost an extra ~8fps, but G3D now has fewer lighting glitches and no more
    DOF blur. It runs heavy with lots of jaggies, but great for models and ironsights. If you’d rather have the fps and can tolerate some glitch, I can upload a lite version also.

    Z3D can look pretty nice here when you crank up the resolution and apply AA. I think most will choose this, but here’s my recommended setup for both using Rift CV1:

    Ghost Recon Breakpoint (Z3D/G3D)

    – use vorpX in Oculus mode for Rift (steamVR mode won’t launch correctly)
    – set UPlay launch argument in Breakpoint properties:

    /belaunch -be

    – set Extended FOV to max 100 in Video settings

    Low settings are recommended and still look good. You can keep textures High if you have the VRam. Mild Ambient Occlusion is also fine.

    Z3D FullVR
    – use a 1:1 resolution 2400×2400 in Fullscreen set to Auto aspect ratio.
    Keep resolution scaling at 100.
    – turn on Anti Aliasing, but do not use the additional Temporal Injection
    – set in game sharpening to full 100 and vorpX sharpening to full 2.00
    – Keep all vorpX HUD sliders to full 1.00 to avoid flickering

    G3D FullVR
    – use a 1:1 resolution 1280×1280 in Fullscreen set to Auto aspect ratio. (lower than 1280 doesn’t seem selectable in game)
    – turn off Anti Aliasing settings to avoid trees blur
    – reduce vorpX sharpening to 1.00
    – Adjust vorpX HUD depth to ~.90

    If 1:1 resolutions are not applying correctly, add lines to GRB.ini found in:
    C:\Users\(user)\Documents\My Games\Ghost Recon Breakpoint

    [Display Settings]
    KeepStandardAspect=1
    WindowMode=2
    DisplayWidth=2400
    DisplayHeight=2400

    Xbox controller override has been set so that headtracking should also work. You’ll need to remap the controller buttons to the corresponding keyboard buttons in the vorpX delete menu (bottom of controller page). I’m not sure there’s a way to invert Right stick though.

    Please remember to play in solo mode only and do not attempt to play coop or pvp to mitigate risk of being banned by BattleEye.

    Hopefully this all still works on launch code. Have fun.

    lol, i can set the FOV to 2.13000 in the game GRB.ini !

    C:\users\your user name\documents\my games\ghost recon breakpoint/grb.ini

    FOV=2.13000

    FullVR FOV settings are now perfect !

    In G3D with low resolutions, you can set the sharpenlevel to 300, in the GRB.ini too. Now you can Play with activated Antialiasing.

    But there are 2 other problems in my setup:

    1. There is a half sized transparent “window” on top of the graphics, with some blurry distortions in Z3D.

    2. I have to set headtracking to 0, because i can’t aim something with my gamepad otherwise.

    any suggestions ?

    (by the way: using legacy reprojection mode gives me a performance boost)

    it’s sad, i contacted Ubisoft and Battleye, but they won’t support Vorpx in Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Vorpx is blocked by Battleye (Anti Cheat Plugin). We have to wait until the cheaters release a Bypass of Battleye. After that we could use the Bypass in Vorpx. If you use the Bypass only, and don’t use the trainer , you dont’ get banned permanently (read FAQ Battleye), but don’t open the Multiplayer Part of the game. But it’s always online, it will be difficult to release a bypass.

    Ghost Recon Wildlands Anti-Cheat-Plugin (EAC) is bypassed by cheaters perfectly !

    Ghost Recon Wildlands (G3D)

    I was excited to finally get this one figured out. It was cool playing in Z3D, and now even better in G3D. First-person ironsights are more convincing as are vehicles and interior spaces.

    You’ll need a strong PC to handle G3D, and will have to settle for mostly low settings at low res. Until I can get them fixed, terrain is set to most basic, and shadows will be off. But the game still looks good, especially at night.

    I’ve configured FOV and scale to work best for first-person aiming, so it’s easier to check corners and clear rooms. This means Third-person scale appears a bit small, but I think you’ll appreciate the good 3D effect overall. Profile intended for Rift FullVR, Pimax8k alternative to come later.

    **First you’ll need a working EAC bypass in order to hook this game (creative googling). Use for offline singleplayer only.

    For best possible fov:
    – create a 1:1 custom resolution 1200×1200 or 1440×1440 in driver panel
    – in game select your custom resolution and set Fullscreen
    – set Extended FOV down to 0% in Video settings (doesn’t help ironsights)

    Graphics settings:
    – set Anti Aliasing OFF
    – set Shadow Quality OFF, instead use SSBC Ambient Occlusion
    – set Texture Quality to High or Ultra
    – everything else set to Low/OFF as desired

    *Hide HUD elements in game settings and toggle with hotkey
    *Ironsight pistols with lasers are best in buildings
    *Sniper scopes have dual-stage zoom (press B while scoped)
    *Don’t forget your nightvision :)

    If you need ~10 extra fps and don’t mind a bit of light source artifacting, let me know and I’ll upload a lite version. Z3D profiles also available on the cloud. Enjoy!

    I can confirm that both hook methods are working here for me too. I’ve been playing ACOddy a lot this week so I was eager to test this report.

    There is something fishy about Z3D rendering in both Odyssey and Origins using Rift in 19.1. Some type of Z-buffer artifacting that is appearant even on the loading screens. In game it has a stuttering smear effect.

    Rebooting did not resolve, though I don’t get this problem using my Pimax4k with steamVR.

    I do have “optimize game settings” disabled to keep my own ini values, but his wasn’t a problem before 19.1.

    The few other Z3D games I’ve tested so far (Ghost Recon wildlands, Hunter call of the wild, War of Rights) still seem ok in rift, but those AC games are both affected. I’ll do more testing.

    Does g. Recon Advanced warfighter 2 use the same Engine?

    No, It uses the Yeti Engine. Not sure if there is any G3D profile based on this. I don’t own No. 2, I just checked RJK_’s
    Game Engine Crosscheck
    and there does not appear to be a G3D profile based on this game engine. Perhaps experimentation is the only way to go…

    Good luck!

    Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter (G3D)

    Game based on Diesel engine. Used the Payday 2 profile as a base and fixed some minor shadow issues along with a few other minor reflections. Looks pretty good in G3D and immersive for a tactical squad based game. Profile is set in Cinema mode with a maximum 3D strength due to a lack of in game FOV adjustments. FOV adjustment with VorpX creates some graphical problems. Default FOV is just enough but I’d prefer more myself, at least this works in G3D without major problems.

    Notes:

    – Max out in game graphic settings
    – Higher resolutions can be used but text becomes smaller
    – I am using 1920 x 1080 16:9 in game settings
    – Consider my settings as a base profile and adjust to your preference

    Profile uploaded to the cloud.

    Cheers,

    Neat Ralf! It’s always nice having Z3D option when shadows are a problem.

    I’ve had some pretty good luck with the unity based Life is Strange – Before the storm profile, granting G3D to games like Hitman, Mad Max, Sniper Elite, and even Total War. Games I would not have suspected a link to unity. Perhaps the unity render method is most basic or common?

    Anyhow, it will be very useful if Z-normal ends up working across these games as well, even if the profiles have to be remade. (or will they?) I’ve already used the fixed Z-buffer Battlefront 2 profile to fix Ghost Recon’s Z3D, so thanks for that.

    Which HMD do you have?

    I tested just now in my rift (even using the alternate dll you linked) and things are working with updated profile. Please be aware that Ralf has since asked us to no longer discuss or post links regarding bypasses and trainers, sorry.

    If you haven’t already, please try the (Rift) labeled profile I have uploaded from Dec2018. The original profile from this post was based on GTA5, but game updates caused problems with Z3D. I later found that an updated Battlefront 2 profile handled Z3D much better. Even if you are not using rift HMD, please give the rift profile a try. You can adjust it as needed to suit any HMD.

    If you plan to play in fullVR mode, I recommend a square resolution (2400×2400) for best camera FOV results. Create the custom res with your Nvidia Control Panel first, then select it from the fullscreen resolutions in game. If it gives you trouble choosing custom resolutions in game (as it recently sometimes does), you can manually set it in GRW.ini.

    Documents\My Games\Ghost Recon Wildlands\GRW.ini

    [Display Settings]
    KeepStandardAspect=1
    WindowMode=2
    DisplayWidth=2400
    DisplayHeight=2400

    *add KeepStandardAspect line if it does not already exist

    Slide Extended FOV to max in game.

    Hopefully the new profile fixes your problem, but if it doesn’t, let me know and I’ll take a closer look at all my game settings and post them exactly.

    Edit: I’m using Temporal AA (some games having AA on vs off is important), and leave resolution scaling at 1.00 (scaling almost always breaks Z3D in games for me).
