    Thanks for your help, Ralf.

The problem is that I’m forcing Skyrim to use the custom resolution of 2880×2160. I find the image to much blurred to my taste at lower resolutions. I’m resistant to VR sickness, but sometimes I would like a bit more FPS, especially in some outdoors scenarios.

I recently installed a free camera mod,in skyrim se, and fallout 4.
Generally the image isnt too crisp. But, if i switch to free camera mode and move around, the image ist absolutely clear, compared to normal game mode.
    Why is that?

Is there anyone that will use the news Nvidia RTX graphics cards with Vorpx?

I ask this because I would like to know what are the FPS increase with this news graphics cards, especially with the RTX 2080ti over the GTX 1080ti in Skyrim (32 bits version).

In my current settings I can have the FPS so low as 17, in some exterior cenarios, with a GTX 1080ti and a Ryzen 1600X.

You might want to reconsider Fallout 4 VR if moving around is the problem, i play it sitting down in my comfy chair without problems (you can increase eye height if you google it) and it is a blast. Actually aiming the weapons with Rift controllers adds to the game and gfx quality is good. Pip boy on your wrist looks nice and so does the suit. I like Vorpx very much but if there is a “real” VR version
out there (Fallout 4, Skyrim) it usually makes it a bit (or a lot) better.

Geometry 3D mode with Oldrim (Legendary Edition) is amazing, but can you run Skyrim VR (tweaked SSE) with VorpX?

one week ago I bought vorpx and since then I have been looking to solve this problem, nothing helps with the exception of the one closed eye or standing close near the wall – that’s funny, but somehow this fact can help with the development vorpx? I don’t know, better letting you know…

so… I found advice from forum user AerowynX:

    Fix for Skyrim giant hands!

and I can confirm folks IT WORKS PERFECTLY for me, thanks AerowynX

my 3D strengh is 1.00 – only small issue when you are in a building perspective changed my recomandation is set to 3rd person inside the building and all is OK

I wan to ask Ralf if is possible to rebind combo Alt + SPACEBAR… my hands are disabled after accident (quadruplegia) and I am using left ALT and SPACEBAR very often…that’s why I choose vorpx by the way – MANY THANKS FOR YOUR WORK

sorry for my english guys :)

    Hi,
I’m thinking about investing in VORPX and a game or 2, but first I want to know if windows MR touch controllers are supported, (particularly for Fallout 3 and the call of duty series? ..and/or any other first person experiences..?)

…also… there is a Skywind (morrowind remastery in skyrim engine,) that will come out, …eventually I guess, …and if that mod had decent vorpx support, then I would definitely, immediately purchase vorpx just to play skywind in VR. …if you have any comments in that regard..?

    thanks

So it’s always been my dream to run Fo3 in VR at max settings along with an awesome ENB/ overhaul mods. Problem is, I’ve been a console gamer my whole life and I don’t know much about system specs when it comes to PC gaming

I’m looking for a gaming laptop that would be compatible with Vorpx while running games like fallout 3, new vegas, and skyrim. I’m under the impression that the reccommended specs for 2D gameplay are not always adequate for VR. I want to stick to something in the $1000-$1200 range

Would this get the job done?

Can anyone offer some advice or recommendations? I don’t know where to start.

there is one HUGE reason to play skyrim in VR using vorpx, it’s called enderal mod from sureai team, i played this mod from start to finish in VR with vorpx and it was truly an epic experience. i highly recommand it !

The only reason to use VorpX on Skyrim is the mods that are still only on LE. You can’t use an ENB with G3D, any preset causes flickering when moving so they’re unusable, and I don’t think Boris cares to fix something like that when official VR version is out there. You can use Z3D with graphics presets without any problems, but there stereoscopic effect is poor and has some artifacting to boot.

I pinpointed the problem to a .dll file from a mod that gets injected through SKSE. The dll in question is “hdtSkyrimMemPatch.dll”, which seems to be a requirement for a mod that adds Bullet physics, and obviously tries to deal with some of the memory issues vanilla Skyrim has.

In any case, if anyone else comes across problems with SKSE it’s highly likely it’s yet another dll file causing the problems.

I used to be able to run Skyrim with VorpX through MO no problem, but it seems something has changed in the past three months or so since I can’t for the life of me get geometry 3D option to appear if I launch Skyrim through Mod Organizer. Only the Z-normal and adaptive options are available, but if I launch the game through the folder without MO the G3D option is there and works, but that obviously doesn’t help when the mods aren’t active.

Could this be a problem with some specific mod, or just MO? It worked fine three months ago. I tried copy pasting the ini changes VorpX makes into MO’s inis but it didn’t seem to help. Any ideas?

//edit: It seems to actually only happen when launching through SKSE in MO, launching TESV through MO seems to work. That said, it did used to work with SKSE so I don’t know what’s changed.
