NipOcParticipantI have tested crysis now too.
The weapon and hands clearly are too big, it sometimes looks as if the weapon goes into the ground.
But I think the scale of the other objects is wrong too, some people look like action figures. (I tested with different 3d and fov settings)I don´t think there’s a fix for that problem, but it affects only a few games.
The Bioshock, Witcher, Mass Effect or Borderlands games worked fine for me.Apr 19, 2015 at 7:26pm #81326In reply to: Another "GTAV will not hook" Thread
RalfKeymasterRunning as admin should not be necessary, but if you run vorpX as admin, you should also run GTA V as admin (and vice versa). vorpX ideally should run with the same rights that the game runs with.
Please also check whether you have a process called “vorpControl64.dat” in your task manager. It may be the case that the 32bit vorpX is running running (hence The Witcher hooks), but the 64bit part that is needed for GTA V is not. Knowing that would at least give a hint what to look for.

RalfKeymasterDo the games you mention work in the other driver at all? Maybe you want to try Mass Effect 2 and 3 or The Witcher 2 in regard to HUD scaling or one of the many other games that have this feature.
I grant you the benefit of the doubt one last time before I finally will assume that you are simply trolling here for whatever reason.
Since we accidentally compared programs so much here, which I normally do not do, please allow me to repeat a few “little” things vorpX does more than others, in case someone stumbles upon this and takes what you say for granted.
– Two 3D modes in many games to either prefer speed or 3D quality
– Four or five times as many games supported
– DX9, DX10, DX11 instead of just DX9
– The new Virtual Cinema Mode for all three APIs, allowing you to play almost any DX9-DX11 game in your Rift
– Quite a bit better performance in important tiles like SkyrimFeb 14, 2015 at 12:46pm #79993In reply to: STALKER GAMES ON DK2
SzabbyParticipantHi!
You already can play STALKER COP in geometry 3D in DX11 (as I’m sure you have already tried). SHOC, CS and LA are only Z3D and DX9.
However, I recommend you to try SHOC+Autumn Aurora 2.1. That game is extremely powerfull in visuals, even without “real” 3D.
Just don’t forget to set FOV around 120-130. That is necesary I think to have the real immersive experience (vanilla STALKER games have FOV only around 55-67.5, and even FOV switchers offer only FOV90 at maximum. But I think you must set FOV to much higher than 90).
In one of his posts Ralf promised to add geometry 3D for all STALKER games. Let’s hope, he was serious on this. Especially Lost Alpha, which offers the highest quality visuals among all STALKER games so far.
Question is, when will Ralf be able to make this changes in VorpX…
