RalfKeymasterJust leave everything input related at default, should be ‘Gamepad’ in case of CP2077. Do not tinker with these settings.
Everything except potentially the resolution and depending on the headset and your PC’s performance *maybe* the headset sync options is preconfigured as it should be.

Ok, so i reinstalled the Mod, set all Game input settings to default and tried again but…
Same problem…
The Oculus Controllers are set in Voprx to “Gamepad” by default.
The annoying thing is, when the control scheme is set to “Gamepad” most of the buttons do nothing…
I can’t move anymore, and pressing any other Buttons except the Edgepeek trigger scheme does nothing…
When i set the Xbox Control overright to “on” in vorpx, all the Buttons work again and i can move but the Steering is impossible because of the full right or left steering..Mar 17, 2025 at 10:34am #221239
RalfKeymasterPlease make sure that your CP2077 controls are also set to default and you do dont use any tool/mod that affects input. Under normal circumstances everything is preconfigured correctly out of the box.

I found the problem.
Go to Steam library/ right-click on Cyberpunk 2077/Settings/Controller and in the drop-down menu activate Steam- Input.
Now the controls are fully working as a gamepad.Jun 25, 2025 at 2:36pm #221589
_John Smith_ParticipantHi,
I just started playing Cyberpunk with the free Vorpx mod (thanks for the great work!).
I couldn’t figure out how to activate the scanner to hack computers with the VR controllers. Or are you supposed to use the keyboard for that?
Jun 25, 2025 at 5:53pm #221590
RalfKeymasterI don’t recall currently what button you need to press, but since per default gamepads are fully emulated with VR controllers, there shouldn’t be any issue in that respect.
Just in case: don’t forget about the second mapping set (press and hold the left grip button).
Jun 26, 2025 at 7:48pm #221601
_John Smith_ParticipantI tried the second mapping with the left grip button. That works for injecting the medicine in the tutorial but I couldn‘t activate the scanner that way by pressing the stick in a different direction while holding grip. It could of course also be that activating the scanner is mapped on a button that Virtual Desktop uses (for example long press left menu button is used by VD to switch to the Windows desktop).

_John Smith_ParticipantOk, when I tried the different buttons with left grip activated I apparently didn’t look at the screen to hack. So it is left grip together with left trigger while looking at the object to hack. Works now.

Django9898ParticipantPlease, i need help again.
I have this weird problem: When i sit in a car and I’m driving up or down the road, the camera shakes like crazy. As soon as the road becomes flat again, everything’s fine. Does anyone have an explanation for this?

rodanParticipantI tried searching this thread and looked at the changelog, so apologies if this is documented somewhere and I missed it.
How does one launch the game in flatscreen after installing the VR mod, short of uninstalling the mod?
Thanks.

RalfKeymasterYou can temporarily change the file extension of [CP2077]\bin\x64\plugins\vpx2077.asi from .asi to e.g. .asi_off if you want to switch to flat without uninstalling the mod.
Just in case: the easiest way to locate the install folder is:
Steam: right click the game’s name, select “Properties”, then “Installed Files > Browse”
GOG Galaxy: right click the game, hover over “Manage Installation”, select “Show Folder”Aug 13, 2025 at 10:04pm #221801
_John Smith_ParticipantUnfortunately I had not disabled automatic updates so Steam forced the new 2.3 update for Cyberpunk on me. I did download the new Vorpx Cyberpunk mod from the homepage but unfortunately it appears to be broken. Couldn’t get it to start in OpenXR or SteamVR. I’m using Virtual Desktop with Meta Quest 3. Everything worked fine with OpenXR and Cyberpunk and the Vorpx Mod before version 2.3. Can’t remember whether I had anything configured differently when I started Cyberpunk before the 2.3 update. Is there a known issue with the current Vorpx mod?
Aug 13, 2025 at 10:29pm #221802
RalfKeymasterThe latest mod download is for 2.3, but the latest nVidia driver breaks vorpX in some games, incl. Cyberpunk 2077. For the time being reverting to an nVidia driver 577.0 from a few weeks back should help:

NukeboytParticipantI am having one heck of a time getting this to run. Fixed the Nvidia driver issue (thanks). Can get it to run on my Quest only via Steam Link with Valve Index selected in Config. When I choose Quest and run game via Quest Link, it errors out saying it cannot detect Quest Headset, Same for if I choose OpenXR and run via Quest Link or Virtual Desktop. Any help suggestions would be appreciated! All other games from Meta Link or Virtual Desktop launch just fine. I must be doing something wrong. Edit: I sent several of the crash reports withing an hour or so prior to this message (≈ 1400 CDT)
