celticspikeParticipant
it does indeed.
lossless scaling will also do the sharpening for you too, if for some reason the one in Vorpx causes issues.
from my perspective Vorpx has integrated the sharpening part of FSR whereas lossless scaling has that AND the upscaling tech to boot.bear in mind I have mainly tested with games that don’t have official profiles or support for Vorpx, and that’s where re-shade comes in.
Lossless scaling should work just as well with officially supported games.
just run it in windowed mode at the resolution per the chart, and upscale by the associated factor with lossless scalingas an example when I previously tried max payne 3 with vorpx and reshade it was unplayable at any decent resolution. 30-40 fps . with lossless scaling i can have the game running at 70-80fps while still looking great in the headset
celticspikeParticipantI use Reshade with Vorpx and it runs great. You do get a prompt from Vorpx about possible conflicts but you can just ignore it. In my experience i rarely have issues running both injectors
celticspikeParticipantReshade is your friend here. I can run ANY emulator with Vorpx when paired with Re-shade.
all you need to do is run reshade and choose the “super depth 3d” shader and run the game in fullscreen.
that will give you a stereo 3d render .
then simply run vorpx in immersive screen or cinema mode and under image settings set the content type to stereo 3d.I have used this setup with pretty much all the main emulators and its fantastic
celticspikeParticipantany more suggestions?
celticspikeParticipantok not sure if this helps but if I stay in full VR mode and set image zoom to 0.90 or lower it works,
but then I have this ever so slight black bar at bottom of screen. this does suggest the aspect ratio/resolution is at fault.
i am 100% in 4:3 and tried at different resolutions e.g. 1920*1440 and 1600*1200celticspikeParticipantchecked all of that and still wont work for me in fullvr mode in black mesa
would have to reinstall titanfall 2 again to check that onecelticspikeParticipantok maybe i missed something in the original release details as just tried black mesa again after resetting the profile and i can see auto hide works in immersive screen but not fullvr mode. does it not work in fullVR?
celticspikeParticipantthank you so much. I just installed Mafia 2 and was having the same issue and could not figure out how to fix
celticspikeParticipantthanks, but it is set to the default of 1.0
I didn’t change anything. -
