    I tried this and it doesn’t want to hook for me. Possibly because the game takes so long to load connecting to the server and all?

    See ->
    VorpX Configuration Menu>In-Game Key Bindings

    I think the default is usually Alt-F.

    Dying light already has VR support (without the need for VorpX) – but you need to enable it. It was never finished properly by the developers but it’s very playable still.

    Go to “C:\Users\*username*\Documents\DyingLight\out\settings\”

    6. Open up the file video.scr with any text editor, Notepad for example.

    7. At the bottom, add this line to the video.scr:
    OculusEnabled()

    8. Save and close the video.scr file.

    I would add to this that this mod would not work for me with WMR (Reverb).

    What did make it work was to do the above then launch the Dying Light .exe through the ReviveOverlay(Dashboard) icon tray ‘Inject’ feature.

    I understand its in 3D but being an RTS of sorts that can’t zoom in very far, I don’t see how VR would enhance or make it more immersive. <shrug>

    Or are you just wanting to play in Cinema mode?

    So is this game fully VorpX sorted now?

    Steam has a $3 sale and I’m thinking of picking it up but want to know it works near perfect (shadows, full G3D, FOV, FSAA, etc).

    Thanks.

    Interesting. I wonder why it has to be the Enhanced Edition only.

    Got it to work. Seems using DX8 was the key. I thought it was DX9 and kept trying to use the DX9 dll files hence also getting the popup warning message from VorpX.

    You’re right, Ghost Recon 2001 is DX8. I put the D3D8.dll, dgVoodoo.conf and dgVoodooCpl.exe inside the games folder where the game’s exe is located, ran dgVoodooCpl to set the .conf file and used the VorpX Ghost Recon(2001) cloud profile. Starting the game from GoG.com works fine.

    Works well, thank you.
