Now, thanks to you, I knew the basics of how to use it. To go one step further, I ask you again: Can you explain me how to adjust the depth rather than simply hide(don’t render)?
For example, what if I want to adjust the depth value of the HUD fixed at 2d, how can i do it?

Perhaps gta5 (direct vr mode) is one of them. But if you want to play it smoothly at 4k resolution, you’ll need at least a 3080.

I am also experiencing severe frame drops despite using a 3080ti. No solution yet?

Simply put, geometry3d is real 3d and z3d is fake 3d. In case of geometry3d,the position, shape, and size of the visible object are more natural. However, when showing shadow effects, etc., if the depth is wrong, so it is unnatural, and the fps is much lower than z3d.

In other words, the perfect geometry 3d gameplay is similar to a 180 degree vr video.

I’m sorry. I looked at your list again There seems to have been an update. Thank you for your hard work in making the list and I will try the games on the list again.

And it seems that there are some games that are missing from recent games, I hope they will be added as well

    thx, I knew it already,
But I’ve tried some of the games that belong to it, but it’s not very accurate.

Thanks to your help, I immediately knew how

    One more question
How can I change a shader that is visible in the shader list but cannot be added (the gray inactive one)?

    I’m sorry for the mistake.

But once again I tested the game
    Hud is only s3d
The main video is in 2d.
Even shadows are only rendered on one eye.

I tried using the nvidia 3d vision profile
It was clear then that it was a complete g3d.
but in case of vorpx profile only hud is s3d
I want to take a closer look.
If it has the wrong depth, fix it next time.

    what is IIRC?

    Of course.
I tried that, but it doesn’t change at all: in the virtual desktop, the sound comes from the usb headset, but when I start the game in that state, vorpx switches to another device automatically
therefor I can not hear any sound in game
    It’s annoying and annoying.

if renaming exe doesnt work, then you’re out of luck for now.
Ralf will maybe add a feature in the future to allow “overwriting” official profiles but for now you can’t.

I think it’s necessary and look forward to adding it soon.

Thanks to Ralf for trying to do something great.
In fact, for a long time, many games have created improved profiles for Nvidia 3D vision users.
Now it’s gone from the Nvidia forum
Not long ago, there was a dedicated forum to discuss the above process.
There were some very capable shader hackers.
If you add these tools later
    In the forum here
Talented people will appear in the field.
I hope that day comes soon.

Through this process, 3D quality has been improved in many games.
If possible, why not use a profile that has already been created? want.
They are already profiles with shader fixes, so I think it’s easy to use them with minor modifications.
Of course, you should consult with the author who made them.
    Here is their address.
I wish you refer to that.

Of course, they also thought about using the huge profiles already created for VR.
