    Good Find on Bulletstorm I think there might just be a lot of luck with UE3 games.
    I do have the game just not installed but here might be some help for the running FOV. Don’t forget to backup your ini. The xxx are for you to fill in the values for your desired FOV example:
    [StormGame.BSSM_RoadieRun]
    CameraFOV=100
    sometimes a slightly lower fov for running enhances the excitement. All preference though.

    StormPawn.ini (AND StormPawnBS.ini !)
    Change these values to fix various other things like run, slide, kick, whip, sniper cam
    Code:
    [StormGame.BSSM_RoadieRun]
    CameraFOV=xxx

    [StormGame.BSSM_SniperShoot]
    CameraFOV=xxx

    [StormGame.BSSM_Slide]
    CameraFOV=xxx

    [StormGame.BSSM_ThumperGrenadeThrow]
    CameraFOV=xxx

    [StormGame.BSSM_BulletTime]
    CameraFOV=xxx

    Screen change: Hor+ in both single- and multiplayer. All cut-scenes remain Vert-.

    Now there is a pdf out there already with a lot of values for our list. I have it I just don’t know how to upload it here.

    That is odd Singularity is not working for you. I am not doing anything strange although my copy is a retail box copy and not a steam. I did rename the exe to udk.exe you may want to try that. you may want to go into your steam launch options for the game and add a -dx9 line just incase a patch made it dx10. all in all I would try running the game from a renamed to udk.exe executable and ensuring that it is running in dx9 and 32 bit as that would be most like my boxed copy that I know runs in geo and z3d.

    I tried renaming the executable to udk.exe with xcom enemy unknown but that didn’t give me 3d so I think it is hit and miss.

    Ya Crysis 3 works really well with vorpx, it does make me anxious for CV1 though. The graphics are great and the environments are very detailed it just begs for a clearer screen. This and Bioshock Infinite are my showcase games so far. I think the FOV settings for your gun and arms are separate in the ini file. Ill have to look into it but I bet they can be tweaked.

    I updated right away and I have not been having any issues. Been playing Bioshock Infinite and it is still the best experience I have had in the rift. Vorpx was worth it for just this alone. I don’t get any judder in Vorpx but I do in a lot of demos made specifically for the rift. I don’t know what you are doing Ralf but keep it up. Looking forward to the next update.

    I don’t know what to say I don’t know why but in the “set launch options” for the game in steam typing “-32” without the quotes got it to hook for me. I’m stoked.

    Bummer that is what I was afraid of. Standard method and it is not hooking for me. Maybe it is because I have windows 8.1. When I played it on DK1 I hadn’t upgraded from 8 to 8.1 yet. I have the same processor as you but I got an nVidia card but I doubt it is the GPU. I even tried extended, rift as primary monitor, and created vorpx shortcuts with each of the 4 executables available. Evry one Displays to the rift but without vorpx. It displays a single image across the rift screen.

    I am interested in this too. I had Outlast working with vorpx on my DK1 but I cannot get it to hook with the DK2. I read on reddit and other forums that many people have gotten it to work. If any of those people could chime in it would be greatly appreciated.

    Actually stereo3d adds very little to the vram usage. The data needed for the 2 images is not double. The rendering is doubled so the speed and efficiency of the GPU is more important. Most tests see around 5% increase in vram usage when running in stereo3d. Though these tests are for shutter glasses and NVidia 3dvision they are very comparable. As far as stereo rendering they are doing the same thing. So in short unless vorpx is very different from other stereo drivers you would definitely see better performance with the 780ti. As for Skyrim if you are thinking more vram more mods you should look up what happened to people who bought Titans for all the vram. Skyrim seemed to crash when vram usage got up to past 3gb whether you had more than 3gb or not. Unless somebody fixed that 6gb is wasted on that game. Titan Z is a dual GPU card but only one of the GPUs will work in vorpx, Right now the best card for VR is a 780 Ti.

    For a PS3 controller there are 2 methods described on the internet that work. You want the method using motioninjoy. Google how to set it up in offline local mode. The alternate way to use a PS3 controller tricks windows into recognizing the PS3 pad as a 360 pad which just leads to the same problem you already have with a real 360 pad. Good luck.

    In most cases yes and it is a wonderful tool but in Thief and Deus Ex HR there is no option to disable the gamepad. If it is plugged in and a button or analog stick is pressed then control shifts to the gamepad. In Thief it makes the screen shake all over the place. In Deus Ex it takes 2 seconds to switch to a different control scheme, If you are using the analog sticks headtracking will stop working while they are pressed and for 2 seconds after releasing them and then headtracking will be restored until you press the sticks again. If there are steps for Thief or Deus Ex to disable the gamepad and use your gamepad emulation with a 360 pad, could you list the steps. Right now I am using a Razer Hydra but would much rather be using a 360 pad.

    Sorry for the wall text. This is only an issue with games where the 360 pad is auto-detected without an ingame option to disable it and the game doesn’t play nice with 2 control schemes. So far I only ran into this problem with Thief and Deus Ex. I am sure there will be others discovered though few and far between.

    Thank you for everything Ralf. I am loving playing with my DK2 with vorpx. I went through the entirety of Bioshock Infinite with vorpx on my DK1 and it was my best vr experience and I am reinstalling it for uses on the DK2 now.

    Mad an account to answer this one. Yeah this is an issue with the way the game developer supported 360 input on the PC. The bad news is that it wants you to use either mouse+keyboard or 360 pad. Vorpx uses mouse inputs for head-tracking so when you use a 360 pad it wigs out. Both Thief and Deus Ex: HR have this problem and I do believe they were both made by Eidos. Now this is not all games, plenty do play well with both inputs at the same time like the Crysis and Bioshock series. There is no ini or console command to disable the 360 pad auto-detect within the game and plugging it in after the game has started and using xpadder to map k&m commands to your 360 pad will not work either. Same goes for Vorpx’s own gamepad tool. I spent like 2 days trying to get a work around for both Thief and Deus Ex HR.

    THE GOOD NEWS IS that you can use a non xbox360 gamepad and xpadder and control is restored. Newegg.com even has some knock off 360 pads if you want to keep the same joystiq layout for like 10$.

    Or you could just go k&m but if you wanted to do that you wouldn’t have asked. Thief does come out to be a glorious experience though once you get it all setup.
