Dying Light doesn’t need VorpX, it actually supports Oculus Rift. It just isn’t simple to active, and you’ll need to have an older SDK installed or atleast a program to switch SDKs. Look for it in the /r/Oculus subreddit.
EvanBParticipantI did think of that Ralif [other .dlls] but forgot to validate the game after. Looks like it works now. I got Dead Island Riptide working with z-Normal too, after cranking the FOV through the roof. Thanks!
EvanBParticipantWorth noting that if anything effects the screen, I can momentarily see the game properly. Such as taking damage, falling, slow mo, slow mo regen etc.
EvanBParticipantAlso wish I could change that typo in the title xD Ah well.
EvanBParticipantSo I just recently bought VorpX, and it works pretty well, but the lack of head tracking with the DK2 is an absolute deal breaker. It’s just horrible without being able to use my head to look. It just doesn’t feel right.
That being said I know you must be working on a fix, but for 40 dollars, I think it’s safe to say that an update sooner than later is in order. What kind of time frame is projected before head tracking support is added?
Ralif hasn’t even had a DK2 for a week, you can wait. So few people have a DK2 yet, so it’s updated within the next two weeks, it’ll still be decent timing.
EvanBParticipantWhat games work? So far I’ve got nothing working. Everything launches as normal on the monitor, I have it set to forced to Rift. Might be because I can’t seem to update to 0.64 as well :/
