ParticipantRight now i’m testing this list and good results with Skyrim(DX9) and Dishonored, Direct VR works really impressive. But Borderlands Pre-Sequel Rotation: Fail, FOV: Fail, Position: OK, any magic config tipps for me?

Participantsome tipps for settings in my old thread:

Participantstartpost is 3 years old, rename isn’t necessary anymore, just use the Unreal Engine 3 Profile.

ParticipantThanks to Ralf. With the new version you can easily copy Borderlands, Deadfall profiles and link it to the exe files. No problems so far with Steam versions.

Participant@ All : if anyone else is having this problem (ESO not working), please report back here, so that a potential general issue can be looked into. Ideally with an exact description of what happens (or not).
Maybe you can fix the Game Settings Optimzier in the next version. With 0.91 it tries to edit the UserSettings.txt in Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live
New paths are \liveeu or \liveusAnd the resolution settings are strange in fullscreen. The game tries to use always the desktop resolution and if you change the resolution it interpolates to desktop resolution. For me it works to edit the windowed resolution in UserSettings.txt
SET WindowedHeight “*”
SET WindowedWidth “*”
and set it to windowed ingame. And does anybody have an idea, what the original FOV is? The slider seems to be percentage, so FOV 130 is +30% from original,
original value seems like 50° vert = 79° horiz
Atm I try different resolutions and FOV settings. i would appreciate any suggestions for 1st person view.Feb 19, 2016 at 5:59pm in reply to: Unreal 3 Engine, some unsupported FPS-games, with great geometry 3D! #97259iankemp
ParticipantFor me the exe is in \Unreal Tournament 3\Binaries
you can try UDK.exe
another Unreal Engine Profile, but without positional headtracking.or
Borderlands.exe
Borderlands2.exeedit: Did you see the file exensions in Windows? There must be a typo or wrong rename. It shows up in VorpX with every name. When you don’t see the file extensions, than rename it without exe with the suggested profiles.

Participantmark UT3.exe
Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V
rename the copy exactly to ‘BorderlandsPreSequel.exe’
start the renamed exe. enjoy Geometry 3D
This is for the DVD-Version without Steam Protection.Feb 16, 2016 at 9:45am in reply to: Unreal 3 Engine, some unsupported FPS-games, with great geometry 3D! #97217iankemp
ParticipantCome on, fullquote and a new thread to flame me…
I didn’t say, that I use a steam version of MoH. For more comfort I recommended a new profile and named the exe and profiles that worked for me.
Here’s a workaround with steam
1 make a copy of the original exe, leave original.exe untouched
2 rename the copied exe
3 In the Steam panel,
[Games] -> [Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library …]
[Browse…]
Go to location of renamed.exe –> [Open]
[Add Selected Programs]
4 it will now be shown in your steam game library.
5 start new_game_name from your steam game library, or try to start the exe directly
No more steam error message. But I don’t now if it works with MoH Steam Version.
And again, this thread is a recommendation for new profiles of games with good g3d and working easily with non-steam versions. Its not my fault, when steam protects the gamefiles.

ParticipantSteam version v1.08 retail here, no problems. Maybe try the peak key or VorpX ingame menu. In some games screen goes black when the VorpX view is too close. Also shift + mousewheel to zoom out.

All settings per game are saved in the profile, you can reset every profile to default.Feb 7, 2016 at 11:20pm in reply to: Unreal 3 Engine, some unsupported FPS-games, with great geometry 3D! #97134iankemp
ParticipantYes, I can.
Unreal Tournament III (UT3.exe)
Tested with BorderlandsPreSequel.exe profile and its working great with postional head tracking. With default graphic settings the maps looking flawless in G3D, except the player models have some shadows/lightning issues, but very little and you can set up any graphic settings easily in the ingame menus. So turn off dynamic shadows helped. Mouse ,fps smoothing and FOV are adjustable in the menus too, so works splendid without editing ini files. You can’t move or scale the HUD with the profile.
Again my settings: 1600×1200, 95 FOV ingame, Pixel ratio 1:1, 0.6 distance, don’t forget to calibrate head tracking.G3D-rating 10/10
if you can stand the simulator sickness with a fast-paced shooter ;)Feb 6, 2016 at 10:12am in reply to: Unreal 3 Engine, some unsupported FPS-games, with great geometry 3D! #97117iankemp
ParticipantThanks Ralf, i love your work and this tool.
Additional to Alien Rage, lightning and performance issues. Open AFEAREngine.ini with “Bulletstorm ini editor”.
DynamicLights=False
DynamicShadows=False
huge fps boost and hard to find any lightning problems in g3d anymore.iankemp
Participantupdated version by me:

ParticipantThere is a FOV zoom in vehicles. That hurts my brain ;)
