Oh i forgot, for some stange reasons some games do not show this behave. Seems to be randomly. One reason i can imagine is that the client reads old settings but just doesnt store them enymore.

    Happy holidays :-)

    Hi Ralf,

Dont bother, they ve been raising trouble ever since. i rather use GOG now. The bug, if it was one may have been fixed. For unknown reasons i thought their latest client update was in 11/23, so the issue may have been fixed already. Though i read many people across the web complaining about this. At some point both settings did not have any effect anymore.Thats 100%.

Thanks for the hint. Though this is not very user friendly eiter, cause you need to shot down steamvr each time you change to another game :-/

Just in case you are playing a game without a Vorpx profile, both images will be the same. if 24 doesnt work in this regard at all, try the 3D function of your tv if it has one. Some games look quite nice in this mode 3D wise.

You may ned to use DGVoodoo2 Version around v2,52 or 2,6, the newest may not work with this profile.

Many games from this genre are 2D, so its hard to which one may work at all. You may try out any official DX9 profile or other DX9 profiles from “rjkole” in the cloud or here https://rjkole.com/gamestuff/ I would start off with “Anna”, official profile, may be youll be lucky already with this one already.

Cant exactly answer your question, but with my GTX1080ti on an I7 6700k, i play many games in 4k. It really depends on the game . Mainly DX9 games, where DX11/12 may become difficult in 4k. Though as sayd it depends on the game and the engine that is used. Unity DX11 performs mainly very well in DX11 4k on my system for example using HTC Vive Pro and SteamVR.

Only a certain number of factory profiles change games settings for an optimized performance. User profiles mainly dont change game seetings. There is no mechanism for it. So if for axample “Bloom” is disabled, there is a reason for it. See below.

Since vorpx wants to cover a wide range of games and each game is different graphicswise, certain game settings like Bloom or other effects may be in the way when vorpx creates 3D.
So its always a good idea, when trying to find a suitable profile for a game thats not supported yet also to experiment with the games graphic settings manually. Shadows for example are a very common issue for example, especially on newer games.

Mods may work, mods may not work. There is no rule for it. Best thing is to temporarily install a mod to see if it works or not.
