ParticipantJust a main hint. Game engine vorpx wise is not nessecarily like game engine, meaning that a profile for a certain game engine may work or may not work with a game with the same engine.
A good idea if anything fails while trying “enigne” profiles is to go through “special” on this list. Special profiles are very individual profiles (please make shure you are choosing the right DX9 oder DX11 profile for your game) for various unknown game engines. Sometimes such a profile can be used for “Unreal” , “Unity” etc. as well where other engine specific profiles fail. https://rjkole.com/gamestuff/engines/index.php?selengine=Special

ParticipantIf i may point out two games ive played recently,
Plague Tale and Shadowman Remastered.
During gameplay ive updated the Plague Tale profile several times, so the game looks REALLY well in VR now.
The old remade Shadowman doesnt have the “today” graphics, but the 3D experience is just awesome
(climbing up firewalls etc), first of all in Full VR withe Huge camera zoom factor. While Plague Tale quite eats up some PC power Shadowman Remastered could probably be played flawlessly on an I3 with a GTX970….

ParticipantAnother little Update on this game Apr-1-22
Ive created a brandnew profile “V2” which you can download from the cloud.
– Much better shadow handling
– Better lighting
– All in all way better lookFeedback appreciated.
PS: That ugly bluish dotted overlay which appears here and there in the game
cant be removed , its either inteded to be there or a bug.RJK_
ParticipantUpdated Profile 28.3.22
Certain shadows disabled in favor of more important ones, which makes the game look much more clean.
I stronly reccommend using this FOV changer https://www.gamepressure.com/download.asp?ID=73392
It easily makes the game way more enjoyable an all modes.RJK_

ParticipantI can truly say this game is a must for vorpx. If you like the old Tomb Raider you will love this one. G3D is awesome, Full VR together with an ultra smooth camera that you can move all around your character makes this game highly enjoyable.
I remember playing it with the old ELSA glasses on WIN98, climbing up the blood falls or burning (Screenshot) looks even more insane in VR.Playing the Remaster again after it first came out 23 year ago is JUUUdge Fun, promised !

Participant… wow, that game draws a current of 400W from my solar powered 1080ti.
The particular problem is a deferred lighting issue which can not be fixed from my side.
I was able to remove the white light flash in result of the rest of the game geeing negatively affeted, so i just left it the way it was. If that doesnt happen too often in the game, i think we can (must) live with it.RJK_
