Not predictable. Full versions not nessecarily work like demos do and vice versa. You may get lucky, you may not with the full game.

Update:Bug Info mar 28 2020

Demons of the past (latest official version) has a random bug where one or more characters stop regenerating mana.I highly recommend saving more often. – Another (no guarantee, helped at least once) way to solve this, let you character die and reanimate him with another one from your party. This seems to reset the mana bug.

I played SP1+2 with Elsa Glasses on a CRT years ago. Now with VorX its a completely new experience. Everything looks so real.. Those gates look so huge, and the monsters of coarse too..

TBH: I dont play games which are not localized properly. Absolutely no fun reading text lines or missing important messages just because of… Especially in a shooter or a game with a story thats supposed to “catch”. – They can play Alyx with themselves.

I exactly did that and i came to the same conclusion. Some supermarket glasses tend to enlarge the image to a certain degree fore some reason though. It appears the regular glasses i got from the optician dont.

My brother ordered a pair of inserts too ( around 50E ) but hasnt reported back yet. I ll probably get some as well soon i get to know my current values.

Thanks for your kind information and the provided links, interesting to read.
Let me try to explain my personal problem in another way.
In real world my eyes focus matches at about 1m. One eye sees sharp in distance, the other one near.(getting worse over the time) Meaning i have clear and sharp view at ~1m. In VR i cant really meet the range where both eyes see clear. Only over a certain amount of time, depending on how much i sat in front of the PC. Now, when going to the optician for new glasses, they will ask me for the distance in which i would like to see clear with both eys. (they did the last time where i bought two different glasses, one for far, one for near)
I beleive HMD lenses create a range where an image can be vieved sharply, but that was actually my question, what would i tell the optician ? 1m, 2m ? In therory there should be a range where HMD lenses produce best focus for the eye. This is the value (“distance”) i am trying to find out in order to optimize my seeing.

Steam is not required, only a few games may show an unexpected behave beetween Steam and retail versions.

DX10 can be displayed in 2D only. Please note some games dont work with vorpx at all.

VorpX has different modes (3D Screens) where you can choose from.

If you have a game that doesnt have a 3D profile yet, you can create your own by copying profiles of others games with the same game engine. Inside VorpX you have different ways to manipulate 3D settings also. With DGVoodoo2 (please see forum and google) you are able to play DX7-8 and a few Glide/DX6 games in 3D also.

Note: Only games that render a 3D environment can ever be put into 3D with VorpX. 2D Games like Whispered World can only by played in 2D.

Best if you buy the software and be amazed.
