Oh ok. Thanks for the info Ralf. Any new games you’re working on?

Extremely fast reply! Wow thanks. Bummer no 3d but now at least I know. Keep up the good work Ralph, and also, consider including infinity engine games for 3d like Baldur’s Gate and Icewind Dale. :)

Thanks for the ass kissing. 😉

There was one report earlier that sounded quite similar to what you are experiencing. Turned out the the issue was caused by forcing Ambient Occlusion through the nVidia driver, which doesn’t work in conjunction with vorpX in Geometry 3D mode. So that might be something worth to check.

Regarding 3D modes: This has to be done game by game and is a fairly complex process. Technically it’s not hardcoded in the sorce code, but it’s not something that can be done by a user. So in a way you could indeed call it hardcoded.

Ralph you son of a gun. This helped me too. lol

The GPU isn’t the problem, skyrim is heavily cpu bound.
You can play on ultra, just turn shadows on low.

Other than that, a better cpu and heavy overclocking.

WOW!!! What a difference! Thank you so much. This little piece of info should be plastered on vorpx somewhere everyone will see it because I didn’t see it and I’ve had VorpX for a month now and had been playing on low the whole time. You may have just saved me $600 bucks! *air hug*

For anyone still having problems after the new Skyrim cloud profile like I was, the positioning of the text has a lot to do with weather or not you are using the vorpx upcsaling option in the in-game menu. Turn it all the way down to 1.00 for a perfectly centered view in edge peek mode.

Ralph I’m also having this problem. Notes with 1 page read fine but when there’s multiple pages like in books all the pages text are on one page overlapping so it is not readable.

Help! I’m having a lot of game breaking problems with the Character Menu for all versions of Skyrim I have tried. Every time I use it it zooms out slightly and it won’t zoom back in. It causes terrible distortion like a reverse fisheye effect and the only way I found to fix it is to reload my previous save. Please help me out. I can’t find info on this anywhere.

Nevermind I figured it out. I had to put the 3d fov adjustment thing in the in-game vorpX menu in the main settings page back to default so that the red text warning about possible glitches disappeared. I did the same for the height adjustment but I’m not sure if that had anything to do with the issue. Loving vorpX now. Hope this helps someone.

I’m not sure where to ask this but I can’t find any info anywhere. Every time I use the character menu the game gets all warped like it does when you go into 3rd person. The only way to fix it is to reload an old save before you went into the character menu. This makes it unplayable. Is this a known issue? How can I fix it?

    Thanks Ralf,

I did what you said by uninstalling and using the web installer and it worked just fine.

I did send you a registry key request but found it in my old emails.
    Thanks.

For me the program that was opened was Photos.exe. Why it is running in the background I have no idea. I closed it in task manager and the update went through and vorpX started up.
