Tell me one reason why anybody who’ve got Vive would like to use a keyboard or any other controller then Vive controllers with native roomscale game? If developers would think about another kind of movement the would just made touchpad input in Onward style available. That’s why I think modders would be the best for that… but not with community that size.

And I do want treadmill… believe me. I want it so badly that I offer them to ship it on US address and I will ship it to UK by myself (for around $1500) + resign from any warranty. And they still refused. Right now they didnt even reply to my email I send around week ago.

Virtuix needs some competition, agree. Surprisingly this is second project like that (after Cybernith Virtualizer) which literally used people money to fund they company and give people nothing back. Ok Virtuix is slightly better…. they at least offer a refund with pathetic 3% per year… And about Kat VR… well I would go for that if not the price. According to they website is 59999 chines Yuan. Probably around 7000 pounds…

So You will probably stack with Vorpex and legacy AAA titles. Which… don’t understand my wrong. I’m still super jealous about. That is if You will ever receive Yours… as who knows what will be their next step.

I don’t think this is a task for VorpX. None of Vive games have VorpX profiles because whats the point? They working in VR anyway.

You could have hope community will do some mods for this games (I saw post on one of the forums with an idea how to make it work with OpenVR) but since Jan(Virtuix CEO) decide to f**k over all international buyers (I was one of them) I wish You good luck to find anybody who will be bother to do that for so small community like private Virtuix owners (roughly 2-3k people in US).

Thank You Jan!! I bet Your US bakers will be as grateful as the rest of us.

If You want to play FSX in VR I would strongly recommend buying FlyInside Is nothing wrong with VorpX – I personally thing is great software – but I just can’t imagine playing FSX without all these extra features FlyInside have. Without it, You would need to continuously take Your hands of the joystick/yoke to grab the mouse, and that completely breaking immersion for me.

Also, I can’t see Prepar 3d or DCS on the list off games supported by VorpX so no wonder You can’t make it work.

And about the frame rate in FSX in VR. Try to use trial FlyInside and disable all traffic in FSX options. You will gain incredible amount of FPS, more then by cutting resolution in half and turning off AA. FlyInside also have built-in asynchronised time wrap which will help You with low FPS.

I had the same problem with water but settings above didn’t solve it. Instead I’ve used this mode Green Water Fix mode and it’s working.

I also have other problem with water. I had it before I installed Green Water Fix. So whenever I moving my headseat up and down (changing angle not posittion) water changing it’s level. It’s visiable most when I looking on the river from the top off the mountain, when i change the angle of my head about 45 degrees river can loose even 50% of it deepth. That doesn’t happening at all when I moving ‘character’ head using mouse. Any idea whay could cousing it? I’ve got 2k textures, Static Mesh Improvment and Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch mods installed, but to be fair I left the copy of original Skyrim instalation folder in steamapps\common and I just swap them over to test is that happening on the modless Skyrim as well, and yes it does (unless above modes changing any files in other Skyrim directories).

So… any ideas? Google doesn’t help, all skyrim-water releted problems seems to be about being unable to see underwater…

Does that mean aiming will be decoupled? If solving that glitch will be only side effect I wonder what can be the purpose of this update, and decoupled aiming is the only thing I can think about. If Yes they should give You the Nobel prize :)

P.S. Any chances new version will be released before Christmas? :)

Hello, that’s my first post although I playing with Vorpex for a while now :)

So I manage to set up Skyrim with a satisfying level of smoothness and details what took me a while but the effects are great G3D 1920X1440, AA x4, Anisotropic X8 directly through nvidia driver, shadows low and rest off settings on ULTRA. With that settings game running between 40 and 60 fps in outeriors (although I haven’t been in any other town than Riverwood so far) and never bellow 85 in interiors.

Thanks for rich base of Skyrim modes I manage to reposition and rescale all HUD elements so they would be visible without using Edge Peak to often.

The last problem I’ve got is caused by being unable to rescale SkyUI inventory menu. I can do it using build in Vorpex settings, but then whenever I press Edge peak, inventory menu going back to standard size. Why would I want change the size of any menu in Edge peak mode? Well when I looking at the item in top left corner and then moving my had to see its statistics in bottom right corner mouse cursor moving together with my head and it just getting on my nerves when I have to choose it again, and again, and again. It causing me to continuously wearing, buying and selling incorrect items.

So… is there any way to scale the HUD in the Edge peak mode via Vorpex? Or the way to disable mouse cursor movement but not headtracking? Or maybe somebody knows another way to rescale SkyUI menus? Maybe is there a setting in SkyUI settings I missed?

    Please help :)

And btw, Ralf thank You for that amazing piece of software. Without It VR wouldn’t be the same.
