Boneworks is the better VR Half-Life to me. With all its glitches and buggy physics it felt a lot more immersive to me. I couldn’t stop playing it, where Half-Life feels like a drag, playing for 30-60 minutes each day but feel no need to play longer. I think it’s way overrated.

Does anyone else have the issue with a crashing “Advanced Settings” Dialogue when starting Black Mesa with VorpX? It still runs, despite this but it’s irritating nevertheless (and this only happens when using VorpX).
What’s a good FOV to use with Black Mesa? Using the standard of 90 results in weird proportions this can’t be the state of art VR so many ppl are talking about here…

    Update:

It’s finally working again after re-installing Vorpx again (I chose to even keep the registry entries).
Before that I really tried everything else, updated to NVIDIA 158.78, installed Runtime 0.8. So if anybody has the same issues, try a re-install (though I still don’t know why in first place).

    Update:

Yes, using the 32bit Version of MPC fixed it. Thanks for the quick support and great job with the videoplayer!

It’s even worse in my case, ingame menu doesn’t open in VLC and MPC-HC doesn’t even get hooked by VorpX. Any Hints on this ?
    My system infos:

    Win7 64bit
    Geforce GTX 970

VLC and MPC both 64bit, latest versions.
