I always play my vorpX games in cinema mode I much prefer it. Its almost every bit as immersive and yet the graphics are waaay better!
Well I have also now fixed my own GTA 5 and what turned out to be major computer problems. I would always have these flashes (could momentarily see steam loading background) when playing games like battle of Stalingrad and DCS, and GTA 5 with vorpX was unplayable.
Turns out a stick of 8GB RAM was broken and I didn’t really start to realize until I started getting BSOD’s all the time which forced me to look into the problem properly. I just thought it was that my computer wasn’t up to scratch for certain VR games.
You can imagine how happy I feel, its like having bought a new computer for been given a new better computer!
That said I also did a clean install of windows, so I don’t know if that also helped (it helped with many things in windows itself).
And yeah GTA 5 in VR how I missed it!
Why put everything on MAX? I’ve found that games in VR and VorpX dont work the same as on a normal screen and that its often pretty hard to tell the difference between high and low graphics settings.
JUst to let you know I fixed this issue I had like 16 drivers out of date which I updated and also did a system reset (for an unrelated matter) and I no longer have graphical corruptions. Obviously then the problem was with my computer as it probably is with yours as well destynova.
i dont know i had that problem and it made it unplayable which is a great shame as I loved it otherwise!
Hey yes I just noticed that if I turn of geometry 3D and use one of the other options the problem goes away. Its not geometry of course but I find the performance is much better without so many graphical glitches and it is still 3D and fantastically immersive. Haven’t tried it properly yet though!
Can anyone help me? I am getting a graphical corruption on the player models whenever I use vorpX in outlast 2, its like a crawling load of black specs all over each and every character including my own arms.

Also I too cannot play deus ex human revolution in any kind of 3D mode without terrible graphical problems which makes the game unplayble.
I’ve been having problems with VorpX too lately. GTA 5 no longer works and I sent a trouble shoot report to VorpX support but got no response.
Other games (doom) dont seem to work as well either. Also on a GTX 980Ti. Think its maybe since the update. GTA 5 runs fine without VorpX but vorpX on and frame rates tank, mainly at night but this never used to happen. Resetting to Default doesent help, I tried clean reinstallations and putting graphics settings on the lowest possible. It didnt even seem to register a change.
Just tried again was getting 20 FPS in the day time down to 4 at night! Something is very wrong!
Hey Ive had and am now having the exact same problems. Have to use the watcher trick and now the FPS is way too low, but only when using VorpX. My system is playing DCS in VR which is much more demanding than the settings I am running GTA 5 on. It cant even handle very low settings but runs fine without VorpX. Did you come across a fix by any chance?
