I decided to give this game a little focal offset in cinema modes. Together with only a very slight HUD depth other elements at HUD depth (certain explosions) dont look too bad. Immersive Screen looks best, FULL VR has Headtracking but weapons look a little flat against the rest. I may upload an alternate profile which makes weapons look better but in cost of the environment. Seems like a Call of Duty typical problem. Until then you may increase 3D strength a little to even that out in Full VR mode.

Unfortunately the open beta for the new Modern Warfare this week is PS4 only. So I spent some time revisiting MW2 instead and have configured some new vorpX profiles for it.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (G3D)

Another visual spectacle campaign looking good in G3D when you turn the shadows off. I only wish the gun models had better depth, but this is how all the call of duty games are sadly. Still enjoyable.
One minor glitch remains with the heartbeat sensor being off center, which could not be fixed without breaking other world props.
Multiplayer FOV has a maximum of 90 and requires an officially approved Changer by AgentRev, so I’ve made two separate profiles for SP and MP using two different Changers. Fortunately each use their own exe so you can keep both profiles active at once.

Hi!!
Had a great time playing COD:ModernWarfare 3 and Ghosts, and also with Battlefront and other games, thanks to VorpX :)
Now i am trying to get Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare REMASTERED to run, and i also found out that i just have to copy a profile like Ghosts and add the game.exe to it, it works great in 3D!
BUT i cant get the FOV correct?!! I tried this “MWR FPS Changer” http://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1189486
with Extreme Injector, i tried changing it in the .cfg (but the config is scrambled,so no luck), but i cant get this to work!!
Its not even working without VorpX, so has anyone got this FOV-Hack to work with COD:Remastered?? Tried Anti-Virus on/off,run as admin, different injection methods…i also see it in the Process lists!!! But FOV doesnt change….
Cant fully enjoy it with only ~65 FOV and a Vive…. :(
Maybe some of you have a solution for this :)
Thanks!!Hi!
I have been putting together an Oculus Rift demo set with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Reason I chose this game is that the VorpX driver fully supports it and that it should have stereoscopic 3D. Also read a very enthusiastic forum post at VorpX about it.
I set everything up, but it does not work as expected.Main problem:
As soon as I start up the game, I can see VorpX kicking in, it shows a black screen with VorpX logo in the bottom center, version number in left corner and the standard warning message (telling about support and that I should shut off the shadowing feature in the game) is shown. Warning message disappears when I press enter or point the cursor on the OK button and click.
After that, the only thing I see is the same black screen with the VorpX logo and version number. I can hear MW3’s intro starting up (theme song). Pressing Enter on the keyboard actually does something in the background (I progress through the menu, so it seems because the sound responds to it), but I cannot see the game. It almost seems like VorpX’ black screen is ‘blocking’ the game view. This is my setup:
Windows 7 (fully up to date)
Oculus Rift DK1 runtime (demo scene runs fine)
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (this is a Steam game, bought and downloaded via Steam) – game itself works fine
Xbox 360 controller (wired)
VorpX driver – just downloaded / installed
Followed exact VorpX instructions for Oculus display settings (cloned screen, etc)
All overlay messages and notifications by Steam have been disabled
Standard Tuscany demo works like a charm
I have tried a lot of different display settings, but nothing seems to fix the issue. Can anyone help me out?
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Emile van den EndeFirstly just bought VorpX and i’m very happy with Skyrim on my DK2.
Been trying to get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 to work.
I’ve had limited success with this, will only launch in 3d in either 640×480 or 800×600. No in game VorpX menu when pressing the del key. Head tracking is working, but not positional. Dont think geometry 3d is working, might be Z-buffer but cant tell as no in game vorpX menu.
Any hints on how to get this working? or are you / will you work on this please Ralf?
kind regards,
Marcus
