Knights of the Temple: Infernal Crusade (G3D)
Hack n Slay from 2004. The dynamic camera is an ideal test for motion-sickness-resistance. Older graphics but music is great and makes the game quite catching.
-download profile from the cloud
-update to latest patch recommended “knightsofthetemplepatch1.exe”
-you must do the following setting for proper G3D
VID_MODE=1920 1080 32 60
It seems game does not allow res. higher then monitor res.
-game is using dynamic camera
-Using the bow will let you play in first-person
-use immersive screen mode or cinema for best gameplayJun 24, 2018 at 6:02pm #173635
please help me to apply vorpx to RAGE.
rage has a vorpx profile, but the game appears only to one eye, into the oculus.Jun 24, 2018 at 6:43pm #173636
Unfortunately i dont own Rage, so i wont be a big help.
As far i know Rage has an openGL renderer. You may try that together with a quake 4 Profile. For a test you also could try the Dishonored 2 profile.Jun 25, 2018 at 3:54pm #173640moarveerParticipant
I see that Thief Gold has a 3d vision fix on helixmod, any chance to get a Vorpx profile for this?Jun 25, 2018 at 5:02pm #173641
You could try the system shock 2 profile with the thief dx9 mod.Jun 25, 2018 at 5:07pm #173642

Serious Sam: First Encounter (G3D) – Original Game from 2001
-Download profile from the cloud
-make game settings first before using VorpX (game looses settings every once in a while, write protecting the settings file may help)
-turn up graphics to the max
-Profile is using cinema mode for better FOV
-you may as well use Full VR mode with Headtracking, but FOV need to be ini tweaked for that. This may help for any tweaks.
-known issues: some elements are 2D, Intro Screens look bad, blood at HUD depth. Pushing HUD depth more into the game may improve this.
-experiment with focal offset together with 3D strength if guns appear unpleasant for your eyes.Jun 30, 2018 at 9:29pm #173708
-Profile availiable from the cloud
-Turn Rimlights, HW Skinning OFF
-Use Immersive Screen or Cinema Mode
-Tipp: Use “Torchlightcam”, a mod that you can move the camera around with and zoom into 3rd person view
Nice 3D, but one bug that you need to overlook is a tiny blue border (possibly a faulty window border which the game provides) on the left side of the game.
You can quite even this out by finetuning 3D Strength together with Focal Offset.Jul 1, 2018 at 5:26pm #173725
The Thing (D3D8to9/DGVoodoo2_54) – (G3D)
Unbelievable how good this old horror shooter from 2002 appears in VR with G3D.
-G3D profile(D3D8to9) availiable from the cloud
-You can use any mode, profile is set to FULL VR
-HUD is positioned relatively uncommon, turn it OFF in game settings or use FULL VR Mode with Edgepeek
-Profile requires D3D8to9 wrapper from https://github.com/crosire/d3d8to9
-you can alternatively use DGVoodoo2_54 with G3D on default, though D3D8to9 looks better with optimized HUD depthJul 2, 2018 at 5:44pm #173740
Frank Herbert’s DUNE (G3D)
I was surprised to see this old DX7 game in Stereo 3D.
-requires DGVoodoo2 and the DUNE cloud profile for G3D (Profile not tested in Win 8/10)
-If game crashes with a renderer error on startup use :http://dege.fw.hu/temp/Dune_patched.zip
-Set SetBkInt32 MODE_Z_DEPTH 16 in configpc.cfg if game crashes on MODE_Z_DEPTH 32Jul 2, 2018 at 11:11pm #173743
try the old republic (not kotor)!Jul 3, 2018 at 10:18pm #173765

-use experimentel OpenGL Renderer from: ( Show all devices )
-change resolution to higher values in DeusEx.ini
-set graphics to 32bit
-gain/lower 3D Strength for HUD settings or when choosing Cinema Mode finetune 3D Strength together with focal offset for better HUD/3D sepeartion
-Profile availiable from the cloud
