I’m definitely interested, I heard there is no FOV slider in game. If you have any success with FOV let us know, I’ll try next beta round

It keeps crashing for me. #124654AmazingSandwichParticipantI just finished playing through Doom after getting it late, such a good game. I never had that particular error but I found it very sensitive to set up, and after the latest vorpx update it created some different errors I needed to work around. I can tell you what I did which made it work for me, but to be honest 1/3 of the time it would crash on startup for no clear reason but then would work the next 1st or 2nd time I would attempt.. even tho nothing had changed at all.
-disable any anti-virus, background game apps (like origin or uplay, etc.), disable any VPN or really any other background application in your taskbar (this seems odd but times it wouldn’t work I would close some random program and then it would work)
-start up your vive/oculus
-start up vorpx as usual and select a Doom profile, run as ADMIN
-after vorpx is started launch Doom out of a custom profile you can make through vorpx (look this up), so it will be its own Doom vorpx specific shortcut (this I found was a crucial step, if I launched the game out of steam or whatnot without this it would basically crash), run this as ADMIN as wellIt was super stupid to do all this but this was the only way I got it to run near consistently every startup. Good luck!
AmazingSandwichParticipantHmm, now DOOM isn’t showing up in headset but it did earlier today after update.
AmazingSandwichParticipantUPDATE:
Not sure what the origin of this issue was but I did find a way to solve the problem if anyone else gets this error.
-run vorpx and origin overlay as admin
-disable origin in-game overlay (after step 1 this created a second issue with mouse which overlay disable solved)AmazingSandwichParticipantHey igbeserk, this is what I use:
GstRender.ScreenSafeAreaHeight 0.850000
GstRender.ScreenSafeAreaWidth 0.400000You will also want to turn off achievement notifications and some other stuff in settings just FYI. When you pull the map and display in like this those kind of things will show up right in your view if not disabled I have found.
AmazingSandwichParticipantHmm allowing it didn’t work but disabling it entirely did. They seemed to be working together prior to update :/ either way thanks for help.
AmazingSandwichParticipantYeah i think so? it runs great
AmazingSandwichParticipantHey, I don’t have battlefront on PC but thinking of trying it out. I do however see at least 4 profiles in the online profiles for the game through Vorpx, follow the steps below if you havn’t tried loading up any of those profiles yet:
step 1
Open VorpxStep 2
click “cloud profiles” on leftstep 3
type in name of game “Battlefront” under the “Game/App” field (note: if you havn’t logged in with a user name you will have to make this now before it loads in online profiles)step 4
select one to trystep 5
click “import profile” buttonAmazingSandwichParticipantstep 1
Open VorpxStep 2
click “cloud profiles” on leftstep 3
type in name of game “Battlefield 1” under the “Game/App” field (note: if you havn’t logged in with a user name you will have to make this now before it loads in online profiles)step 4
select the one by piebald3 (his name will be in brackets after name of game)step 5
