Yeah I actually did all of that and it works for the most part, but man is there ever bad jaggies in the game doing it that way. Badly implemented stereo 3d.
Ralf, you definitely have something special here. With more game support and continued improvement, this could be huge. It really fills a void right now.
Thanks for the update Ralf. But for the next release can you focus on more games with geometry 3D? Things like Deus Ex Mankind Divided, dishonored 2, dark souls 3, watchdogs 2, witcher3 G3D.
Mankind divided and dishonored 2, being my personal choices. Those would be crazy good.
Also, how are you running anything in “desktop theatre ” mode, when you say disable desktop theatre and steam overlay??
What is the purpose of using Vorpx with desktop theatre? What does vorpX bring to it? Can’t you just stream a sbs game through desktop theatre? thx.
Also, your instructions dont make sense. If you add the exe to the excluded list, vorpx won’t run, and therefore you can’t bring up the menu (del) to do anything.

Btw, I implore you, beg you, please get Mass Effect Andromeda working with Vorpx once it comes out. The mass effect series is my favorite of all time, and the new one would be crazy amazing with VorpX.Thanks for the great work!
I’m not sure how hard it is to add them, but PLEASE try to do this in one of your upcoming releases!! A few more games like these would go a long way!!
Heck, I’ll take any of those other games. I find it impossible to go back to regular 2D games after playing so much with VorpX.
I have a HTC-Vive myself, so I’m liking the Vive support so far (keep it up!). Been playing fallout 4 with it, and loving it. Playing in Lounge mode, geometry, close up is just like being in actual VR without losing all the UI stuff. Absolutely Love it! Best thing I’ve experienced in gaming for years!!Definitely add as many games support in Geometry as you can, that’s my 2 cents. And keep the Vive branch up to date as well, its been great so far!
I have no problem giving credit where credit is due, especially as there seems to be a lot of people out there on the negative train, due to super high expectations or inability to spend the time to set it up. That’s the internet…
Ralf, If I were you, I would focus on 1) setting expectations – give video tutorials, etc. 2) Maybe a wizard or foolproof simple page of instructions 3) Focus on Geometry 3D for a few more “winner” type games that would win people over. ie. Assassins creed 4,5,6, Splinter cell blacklist, witcher 3, fear 3, alien isolation, mankind divided.
Keep this puppy rolling – VR is brand new, and this has so much potential to be huge.Cheers,
