I get the same error with ERR_GFX_D3D_DEFERRED_MEM and RDR2 (using RTX3080). Tried to figure it out within the first two hours that Steam lets you try a game before you can ask for a refund. Sadly, had to ask for a refund on the game. Game works normally just not with Vorpx enabled.
Even tried a pirated version of the game, but get a social club error 4 problem so can’t win either way.
The profile only works with the regular Metro Exodus, not the enhanced edition.
Ok Thanks will get regular edition.
I am also having same issue not hooking to Metro Exodus mind you it is the enhanced edition so not sure if that make a difference.
Four options:
1. Exit the game from the main menu
2. Rebind the exit key in the game options
3. Rebind the vorpX menu key in the vorpX config app
4. Exit the game via ALT+F4Additional workarounds: ALT+TAB out of the game and close it via its taskbar icon or the task manager.

Ok guys. How do you exit the game when the exit game key is the delete key. Every time I click the delete key it brings up the Vorpx menu?
To tell you the truth, I bought VorpX just to play Cyberpunk 2077 in VR. After playing with the settings, I truly like playing the game more in Cinemas mode with 3d enabled and a huge screen in my loft. What makes this software good is you can create custom resolutions and use them for your nice big screen separate from what your monitor resolution can show. Once I have completed Cyberpunk, I am waiting for Resident evil village as my next game.
