lipplogParticipantWow. I’m not familiar with most of all that. But I do know that you can remap the keyboard and gamepad inputs in VorpX. That should help your issue with your Xbox buttons.
lipplogParticipanthi all. Im using this VR mod > http://grandtheftvr.com/openvr-support/
and im follow all the instructions but i have problems to run this mod with my oculus. When start the game a message says : hit [Numpad 0] to open the VR Mod Menu , i press 0 and i enable the VR mod and switch enable. But the screen goes grey and can´t see nothing. Pleasee see the screenshot i attach here:can´t see nothing, just like you see in the screenshot. What do you recomend ? uninstall the game and install again and put the files again in the gta folder ? thanks a lot.
I’ve had random issues pop up using the mod. The solution that works for me is to uninstall the game via steam, and then on top of that, trash the gta game folder. Then reinstall the game and then the mod. It sounds like a pain, but it works for me when I have issues.
lipplogParticipantThe mod will probably resolves most of these issues. Install it then see if you still need to tweak anything.
lipplogParticipantHave you installed the GTAVR mod yet?
lipplogParticipantGlad it worked. And make sure to try out the VR mod for Vive.
lipplogParticipantmods aside: you don’t need scripthook or OpenIV for Vorpx, right? And ENB or any other injector must be deleted before even trying VorpX, as it practically does the same, no?
1. No, you do not need any mods for VorpX to work. However if GTA ENBs work the same as Skyrim ENBs, they’ll directly interfere with VorpX’s ability to hook onto the screen image (maybe your issue?). To circumvent this conflict, you have to install the Enbboost injector using the alternative method included in the ENB installer directions.
2. The only mod I do use is the grandtheftvr.com mod which adds full hand/weapon motion controls.
3. After uninstalling my mod and verifying the integrity of the latest version of vanilla GTA V, I ran the game with the latest version of VorpX, and had no issues. If you have removed all mods and still can’t run the latest vanilla GTA V with the latest VorpX, I recommend starting from scratch by uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
lipplogParticipantI’ll remove the mod from my GTA folder and then I can test it with VorpX (the scripthook mod usually takes a few weeks to update). In the meantime, have you checked the integrity of your game files through steam properties? I’ve also found the best way to fix problems is to manually delete the GTA V root folder from the steam library, then delete it again from the steam game properties, then re-download and re-install it.
lipplogParticipantOh. You mean GTA V. Duh. Are you using Script Hook?
lipplogParticipantMy games are still working. Are you running any other hardware or software?
lipplogParticipantThanks!
lipplogParticipantOh yes, of course you can’t purchase it with the subject matter.
Anyway it works now, much thanks.
DirectVR is a real accomplishment and improves VorpX no end.
How did you get DirectVR to work? It fails during Rotation every time for me.
lipplogParticipantI think the problem is my resolution and aspect ratio. Does anyone know what the right one is for this mod?
lipplogParticipantIs it just me, or are all the shadows in GTA V flickering like crazy?
Yup. I came here to see how to sop the shadows from flickering. Did you ever resolve it?
Never mind. I had my 3D separation strength cranked up. I lowered it and the shadows stopped flickering.
lipplogParticipantIs it just me, or are all the shadows in GTA V flickering like crazy?
Yup. I came here to see how to sop the shadows from flickering. Did you ever resolve it?
lipplogParticipantAnother tip I discovered is to right click on BioShock infinite in your Steam browser, select properties, and uncheck the box steam overlay. As steam overlay uses DX 10 and the game uses DX 11, the game looks sharper without the overlay.
