Shadow is absolutely jaw dropping with VorpX in any of the modes (I’m running in full VR, max graphics), and it’s all butter and no STUTTER! Finally I can actually have some fun on this damn thing again. Tried it with Virtual Desktop first and almost threw it down after trying to configure the usual tricks for an hour or so, then thought maybe Cinema mode or Desktop Viewer with innate SBS would work well with VORPX, then BLAM, Full VR and Lara’s T&A in my face :P

P.S. I didn’t do ANY configuring, just launched Shadow from my desktop via VORPX’s Desktop Viewer…and whomever’s profile applied everything. I also had the game’s SBS enabled and settings (i.e. res, graphics) configured prior, and also added exception to the Shadow’s launcher.

    Thanks!

Thanks RJK_, I’m downloading it from Steam now and already snagged your profile!

Dark Souls 3 plays incredibly well, in both 1st person (with a mod from Nexus) or I found it works best for me in a zoomed out, almost to a Diablo 3 level. However, all forms of head tracking work great so I just lean in to zoom tight, and push off to zoom way out. I’ve been bouncing back and forth between the touch controllers and mouse keyboard. Both work well and offer very different game experiences.

There can be some graphical glitches if you push it, but I’m about 2/3rd’s of the way through and couldn’t imagine how I played it the first time without. It feels like an entirely different game. Good Luck, let me know if anyone wants my Vorpx profile.

A solution to this: Add a macro to your right mouse button to include the in-game binding for VORPX’s ‘Enable/Disable Stereo 3D’ (or conversely rebind vorpX’s Stereo 3D to Right Mouse button) and the gun sights will no longer display the double vision. Works like a charm for every game I’ve tried where looking down your sights causes viewing issues. cheers o/

Sounds great, but Steam, or GoG, stopped selling Prey (2007) a while back. I’m having the same problem and tried both my original CD version and a copy ‘obtained’ from the internet. I would buy it if I knew where and that it would work. It’s strange as it works great (only DirectVR Rotational) but FOV is custom ini and is fine, and then randomly (too randomly) it goes bananas and is unplayable.

Phoenix, you rock! I was not happy with HL2 + VorpX and was just about to give up tweaking and I came across both tips above. Game is beautiful and plays smooth as butter, at least on my 1080 GTX SLI x299 mobo setup. Thank you and VorpX
