OdencrantzParticipantWorking on writing up the instructions now. I will publish the profile to the cloud and instructions here later today
OdencrantzParticipantI’ll work on getting that profile to the cloud tomorrow with some instructions to tweak it. Likely find it in the game hints section
OdencrantzParticipantJust another thank you! I truly appreciate your hard work. Vorpx is better than ever. Vive controllers work amazing, as does the new DirectVR. Left 4 Dead 2 is a blast! I noticed smoother performance right away as well. My custom 7 Days to Die profile runs a bit smoother. Can’t wait to go try a bunch of others.
Happy New Year, Ralf!
OdencrantzParticipantFor perspective, my $50 for Vorpx has given me over 50 hours of enjoyment with the following games (and I’ve got so many more to go) ….
Dying Light
Fallout 4
GTA V
Far Cry 3
7 Days to Die
Morrowind
Oblivion
Skyrim (old and new)
No Man’s SkyAll these games run mediocre to awesome at a beautiful 1920 x 1440 base resolution, and training has minimized my motion sickness (try standing at a waist-level keyboard and mouse tray …. maybe even walk in place while your character is walking)
Sorry you are having trouble, but as the previous poster has stated, a little tinkering and you can get pennies-per-hour of enjoyment from this product. Give it another chance, and pound the forums with questions about your specific games. We will help you get them running best we can.
OdencrantzParticipantWorks great! Thanks Ralf!
Got mine set to 1920 x 1440, Geometry is awesome but lags a bit for me at that resolution. Upgraded card will help (running 980Ti), but Z3D runs super awesome.
Thanks so much for resizing the UI! An appreciated added bonus!
On a side note (and different game), I can’t get ESO fov to behave properly. Does not translate the FOV over to HMD as expected. The big issue is, Bethesda now stores the fov in your character info on the server now, so I can’t tweak it like I can with other games, using over-limit values. I know …. wrong forum / discussion, but just thought of it. ESO works awesome in VR otherwise.
Thanks for your hard work Ralf!
OdencrantzParticipantAlso, turn off mouse acceleration!
Add this line to SkyrimPrefs.ini under [CONTROLS]
bMouseAcceleration=0
Feels like you’re turning your own head now
OdencrantzParticipantTurning off Skyrim’s vsync made a huge difference for me
OdencrantzParticipantI forced 1920×1440 in the INI and it worked
