Okay so i fixed the flickering issue. i found out that by disabling sli mode, it works perfectly. No flickering and nothing.

So i guessing that SLI or Crossfire is not supported for vorpX?

Shame, i can’t play without SLI tho. It may affect the performance and won’t make full use of the 2 cards i using currently which is 980 TI SLI.

Anyone using SLI or Crossfire facing the same issue? or just me alone?

Well if you play in full VR mode (non-virtual cinematic mode), you may run into some zoomed in issue but can be solved by increasing the fov. Your crosshair may be slightly raised up. So you may have to force your eye and neck above to aim correctly. so i was wondering if you have the same problem as well. By the way you use htc vive?

    All right thanks,

Another thing about zoomed in issue which i have been trying to solve it for so long.

So far, Game menu is still extremely zoomed-in with full vr mode (Non-virtual cinema mode).

But During gameplay, it seems to work fine such as far cry 3, outlast and l4d2( not supported but able to tweak fov by console).

Other few multiplayer games such as battlefield 4 doesn’t seems to work when i set it in game setting optimizer. I don’t know about rift users, they seems to work judging from their youtube videos.

Really at the end of choices. Could use some help thanks. If all fails, i might consider reformatting. But again, that could be pointless, if nothing could change at all.

OK thanks, another thing is that how can i adjust the screen up and down? In full vr mode, i use image zoom out. but the problem is my screen is too far above. I have to force my eye to look above if i want to aim correctly or something.

Also, i tested out far cry 3. Fov maximum you can set inside the game is 110. Not sure whether game setting optimizer works for that.

Thanks, i was wondering about extended mode or direct mode. Should i enable direct mode? i get red screen issue if i do that. Maybe that’s what causing the problem.

Is the elder scrolls online working for vive users? In full vr mode, it extremely zoomed-in and unplayable. Is it possible for vorpX to set higher than 130 in-game?

I looked for videos, majority of them are oculus rift not for vive

Sorry i meant Game Main Menu is extremely zoomed in. Gameplay seems to work fine for me in outlast. But can’t say for other games such as battlefield 4

the zoomed in problem is due to low FOV. You have to set it in game setting optimizer. But the problem is, there’s no effect at all. I’m using htc vive and playing bf4, glad i’m not the only one with this problem.

The only game i got it working is outlast. But only during the gameplay. In-Game menu is extremely zoomed in, so i don’t know whether is it intentional or a bug. That is if you are talking about non-virtual cinema mode.

Virtual cinema mode works fine for me.

Not sure, but black screen on your monitor is intentional. Afterwards, it should show up on your HMD htc vive? Htc vive is still buggy with vorpX. I facing many issues such as zoomed in problem as well. I wonder do you have that as well? also did you try to disable desktop home theater as well? If all else fail, you might want to do a reinstall of htc vive and steamvr.

Htc vive user here, i think you can supersample it to 4k. But to be honest, i can’t tell the difference.

    Hi ralf,

Just want to let you know i finally got it working with outlast. I don’t know how, but i read up some guide: disable steam overlay and desktop home threate and surprisingly it works. Values around 120 to 150 is comfortable for me. 160 or more is unbearable and screen starts to flip 180 deg upwards. Now the only problem is the game menu zoomed-in, is it intentional?

Gameplay inside outlast seems fine for me. Maybe full vr works for me afterall, just have to do some tweaking or stuff.

Game setting optimizer works by the way. But not sure for other games such as battlefield 4. This is the only game i got it first working with vorpX.

I quite confused with the extended mode and direct mode you talking about. Not sure what mode i am. But pretty sure i am in extended mode. Just got htc vive headset sorry newbie here :).
