Finally got this to install after thousands of attempts,I extracted the installer with winrar instead of the windows 11 built in one, and it then worked on the second attempt… no idea why that made a difference though.

Maybe I pressed yes when I uninstalled it and removed the registration information and need another one, I am on a totally new PC though now… I am not going to buy it again.
I tried every single combination of rules in firewall, disabled it, used a mobile hotspot and every other thing possible but this thing always fails at the very end of the download, just like all the others that had the same issue and never found a solution, I guess I will just have to put it down as a learning experience and never again to buy some dodgy program that offers no real support or refunds.
If you had read my original post before you deleted it, you would have seen that I have already tried all that you suggested here, and yes there has been changes to my PC, its a totally new one, it never worked again after I uninstalled it on my old PC, I thought that maybe it was something in the registry messed up on that PC, but obviously not because it won’t download on my totally new PC either, its like you’ve blocked me from using it or something because like I said in my original post that you deleted, I have never had this issue with any program or file that I have installed ever before.
I tried it with vorpX first but it was terrible, so I have now downloaded openMW vr, it was easy to install and works perfectly, I think lots of mods are still compatible with it too, haven’t tried any yet though.
I can’t even get this game to start with vorpx, it just pops up with the message – this game is not supported. I barely use vorpx anymore, it needs a lot of work still.
All custom profiles are back up and working, everything else seems to be working quite well too, great work. Thanks.
Dam that’s annoying, I had many perfect profiles I had made and can’t remember how I managed to get most of them working… I didn’t realise about the saving on exit thing either with the beta, thanks for warning us about that.
After losing all my custom profiles after reinstalling to get this working I don’t seem to be able to import my profiles from the cloud… I can import others off there? two recent ones I made – enderal forgotten stories (ss) special edition version and AFTERLIFE: KILLING DEATH are two that I can’t import, are some profiles not compatible with this beta? it would help if someone on this beta could see if they can import those profiles and let me know.
I managed to get it working by changing the headset in config, I have had quite a few issues though, like the jerkyness you mention, and all my desktop icons got rearranged at one point, the worst thing though was because I had to uninstall and reinstall vorpX after it not initially working, I lost all of my custom profiles and now it won’t let me import them from the cloud, it just fails and eventually the config app just closes… are those old profiles I made on the previous beta unsupported with this version or something?
I reinstalled the old vorpX and it started up again so I thought I’d try the new beta again and this time it started, but when I tried to play any games it starts the game but has an error message ingame saying fatal error vorpX couldn’t do its magic error 303 or something like that.
I only use Windows Defender, I can’t even open the config app, I did try reinstalling it and this time Windows Defender popped up and said something about the file needed to be checked, so I clicked on it and it took me to a web page but it wouldn’t load and my internet stopped working, I had to restart my PC to get it back, I tried again reinstalling and this time Windows Defender didn’t pop up with anything but vorpX still doesn’t work, I will have to try installing the old version again.
