Deep Sea Tycoon 2 (DGVoodoo2) – G3D
– Game requires DGVoodoo2
– Rename game.exe to dst2.exe
– Ingame you can choose any resolution but game might crash above 1600×1200
– Freely move around with L or R mouse and turn with menu buttons
– VERY mice 3D

Because of some objects are rendered at same depth there will be glitches that we have to live with. Either play FULL VR Mode with crosshair and HUD slightly at wrong depth (depending at 3D Strength), everything else renders fine,
or play Cinema/Immersive Screen with HUD at normal depth (using Focal Offset = 1), but here you must live with some objects like Fire or magic effects beeing rendered at wrong depth.Important Settings:
– Turn OFF shadows
– Keep HDR slider ON, turning off results in 2D game !
– VorpX 3D FOV enhancement works, but you better enhance that through console (engine.fov XX) or autoexec setting.
– Profile is using Edgepeek Mono

Stereo Photo Maker ( OpenGL/G3D )
– View side by side stereo images with vorpX
Quick Introduction:
– Load stereo image (e.g. jps,Png,ect.)
– click Stereo->Page-Flip-Setup
– Choose OpenGL
– Choose 13684*13684 Texture Size
– Press F8, click quad buffer message “oK”
– view image in HMD
– Press X to swap L/R and adjust convergence with <- and -> arrows if image does not look right
– click right mouse button and move mouse to zoom in and out
– if image is larger then screen, click left mouse to move image around
– Program has many other options that you can use to manipulate stereo images with

Thief: Deadly Shadows (DGVoodoo2) – G3D
– DGVoodoo2 required
– update game
– use immersive screen mode or cinema, in FULL VR compass sticks to screen
– profile does NOT work with “sneaky upgrade” because there is a too large time gap beetween switching beetween windows/menus where VorpX can not hook back
– unpatched game provides 1600×1200 px ingame settings max.

RJK_ParticipantI dont exactly know what you mean, if your are you talking about headtracking, this is very game dependent. If you were expecting to turn your head inside the game and it doesnt work ( “game is glued to face” ) in Full VR Mode, you could switch over to Immersive Screen Mode which let you at least move your head relatively to the scene. Using either Immersive screen or Cinema mode, pulling the screen real close let you have almost the same feeling as when inside a game w. headtracking

– Against GTR 1 , this game worked out of the box with WIN7 (v.1.0, German)
– In/Decrease FOV with 3D Fov Slider
– GTRConfig let you choose very high resolutions ( i recommend 16:9 )
– Choose DirectX 9 Renderer
– Profile is using Cinema mode for headtracking use, ( no Headtracking in FULL VR mode), change screen size for your confort
– One snag, speedometer doesnt display well in one eye, there was no way to fix that.

This is the last shooter of the TT series from my collection. The game looks like a tiny bit outdated from 2010 and doesnt support FOV either, but the lithtech Jupiter EX engine is still doing a good job. I decided to use immersive screen mode for a profile for some more FOV . When trying FULL VR you may gain 3D FOV enhancement, but you will possibly experience visual glitches.
See Terrorist Takedown 2 above if your game crashes with a black screen on start.– If you are using Config.exe for graphic settings, change these first before renaming the games exe
– Rename game.exe to ttgame3.exe (required for G3D)
– Use 16:9 if playing immersive screen mode, this gives some more FOV

RJK_ParticipantToday i found out that camera pos. indeed only takes effect when pos. tracking is enabled. Tested one or two games but with very different results, mostly unpedictable. To me It looks a bit like that camera pos. somehow depends on the way how environment/objects are transformed. Sometimes only certain objects are affected, sometimes more, sometimes less.

With this Shooter City Interactive moved over to the Jupiter EX Engine in the Terrorist Takedown series. Unfortunately they also introduced a main Media Error on Win7 and above where their games sometimes crash on start into a black sceen. IF this occurs, my personal solution was to (if present) DE-Install any LAV Codecs (i had 0.66 installed). If game still crashes either RE-Install or NEW-Install the LAV Codecs you have just removed. If this doesnt help either you may rename your videos like described here. (scroll up to “code of honor”.)
– Profile is using Immersive Screen Mode ( i recommend 16:9 ) to get more FOV out of it in this mode. If you decide to play in FULl VR, you may use 3D Fov enhancement, but propbably with glitches.
– Some guns with a LED crosshair dont show up at right depth, you may try to finetune 3D strength and focal offset together
– Game looks quite dark in certain corners, gain gamma ingame or with vorpX.

RJK_ParticipantThis function does not work with most older games, so i am not using it anyhow.The only game that i remember where is was possible to use it all the way trough was Hunted. In the past i became more sensitive for better settings too, so i usually leave them more balanced like 3D strength for example set to around 1 so the user can decide whats better for him. –
