Fixed by switching to steamvr! its an wmr headset but hey its working now
Im sorry for second post edit didnt work.
Kingdome Come Deliverance for example is suddenly set to Japanese and even crashes everything at the intro now (No ctrl alt del possible just powerbutton restart) with the message:
Playerprofiles cgamescontext Startgame User ‘my windowsname’ hast No active profile
Baldurs Gate needs verification and doesnt start now anymore too.
I managed to get it run by setting vorpx to start as admin
I got the same problem in BFV and Battlefront 2. I just cant get it to start on my new PC. The “attaching to exe” message appears and nothing else happens. I have to ctrl, alt, delete to exit process.
Im using a WMR (g2) and setting Vorpx from OpenXR to Steam lets the game start but it constantly crashes when entering game menu.
Please help, id love to play this in my hmdFeb 8, 2021 at 12:32am in reply to: Prodeus is using Unity 2019…what profile I can use? #200318
Nice thank you! Its an awesome game!

Cant wait to try it myself
It seems to be possible now to get the Red Dead Redemption 2 profile working with this. Paradise Decay also added his Hitman 3 profile based on this into the cloud already.
Theres also a first person mod now: https://www.nexusmods.com/hitman3/mods/8
Its still not perfect, but some progress. Havent tried it out yetJan 27, 2021 at 1:06pm in reply to: How do i use another games profile for Amid Evil or Darkplaces (Quake 1)? #200001
I was blind XD! Amid Evil works great, i’ll upload my profile when its finished. Still have to try to get the HUD positions right but its full geometry 3D and looks amazing.Jan 26, 2021 at 10:31am in reply to: How do i use another games profile for Amid Evil or Darkplaces (Quake 1)? #199966
Ah thank you! Didnt find that one before
Ah ok thanks, didnt know that too.
That did it! Every resolution problem i had has been solved by this. Resident Evil 7, Half Life 2, Black Mesa, Portal, Dishonored, Bioshock, they all look better than i couldve imagined!
The problem was that i tried to be clever when setting the custom resolutions and used 90hz.
Now at 60hz every game lets me choose them and its incredibly beautiful! My Monitor is still at 1440p@165hz and i strangely have to use fullscreen in my headset everywhere to get the desired resolution but it works great!
Thank you so much!
I have to try it again tomorrow on my TV. My Monitor is 1440p 165hz AOC which somehow just turns off when i set it to any 4:3 resolution. I was able to set custom resolutions with it by simply navigating blind with cursors and enter though.
Thanks for answering so fast!
My monitor isnt able to be switched to 4:3 resolutions sadly and its already in windowed mode. When turning on DSR i’ll lose my custom resolutions for other games and its still 16:9 which is wrong as far as i understand.
Performance wise it should be good. I can play GTA V and Bioshock 1-3 at incredibly high resolutions in this headset. 2070 Super, 6700k@4,4
Id love to see Amid Evil in VR (UE4 Engine)Jan 8, 2021 at 5:42pm in reply to: Bioshock 1+2 Remastered huge hands issue – no player fov #199588
Thank you for your fast answer and clarifying Ralf.
I simply love Bioshock and like some of the details added in the remastered versions. I also thought the known problems had been patched already.
This was the video i was referring to, hes using the remastered Bioshock and it doesnt seem to have the big weapons problem so i thought it would be possible somehow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtSakdQqQ2E
Ill just stick with the original so far since vorpx really elevates it incredibly
