RalfKeymasterI can’t comment on specific titles, but there will be new profiles in the future, of course.
RalfKeymasterMight make sense to check whether it maybe depends on the location. Also restarting the game might be worth a try, although you probably tried that.
At least for Z-Buffer 3D that may be a possible explanation. Some games use multiple textures for storing the depth, which can lead to symptoms like that.
Apart from that all I can say is what always applies to making copies of profiles for unknown games: might or might not work.

Regarding your suggestion: are you aware of EdgePeek mode (press mouse wheel)? With EdgePeek the view temporarily switches to a cinema like view, which is quite useful for using inventory screens/menus or watching cutscenes. Maybe that is already what you have in mind.
RalfKeymasterLocal profiles are automatically active, so you don’t have to do anything to use them. Whenever you start a game that has a profile in the local database, that profile is used automatically.
Cloud profiles have to be imported into the local database once and afterwards (like local profiles) are active automatically. There are three types of profiles that you can find in the cloud:
- Official profiles (author [vorpX]) usually are the same ones that you already have in your local profiles database. Sometimes an official cloud profile may be an updated version.
- User profiles that add 3d support to games that don’t have 3d support per default.
- User settings that contain customized vorpX settings for official profiles.
The Game Settings Optimizer is an entirely different thing, at this point there are no cloud profiles for it.
RalfKeymasterNo such problem here with the Creators update and also no other reports of something similer so far. So there isn’t much I can recommend besides making sure that you have the latest vorpX version installed (17.2.1) and maybe reinstall graphics drivers.
Might also make sense to remove any other antivirus other than Windows Defender that comes with Win 10.
RalfKeymasterNot every game has Geometry 3D. A subset of the games (~30%) only supports the faster Z-Buffer 3D. If a game supports both methods, you can switch between them (G3D usually being the default), otherwise only the two Z-Buffer modes can be selected.
