Hi Guys, i found this on the net today. http://www.feelthree.com/
Probably some kind of affordable flight simulator for users with a VR headset.

    Hello there,

I would like to start a 3D list of vorpx compatible simulator games. ( Any Flight sim, Farming, Fishing, Building, Driving, Trucking ect.). There are hundrets of such games out, i wonder how many of those will work in 3D using VorpX (with or without headtracking). – Please add your game here if you have successfully ran it with VorpX,

    Thank you

    Hi,
I have a problem with flight simulator, once in the cockpit, when I look in different dirrections, it is the front view that moves.
What to do to be able to look around myself please?
    For the FPS, no problem.

really sorry that bought vorpx, because I could never run any game in acceptable condition. all show sucks the head tracking was not working, battlefield 1 and flight simulator throwing error, and generally I consider a great stupidity this application. I can not understand how some of you managed to run some games. there is no detailed guide somewhere that the arrangements should be made; please mercy !!

    Hi,

I can’t run the FSX with the Vive.

When I start the game with default graphic settings FSX crashes when vorpx and SteamVR is enabled.

When I start in DX10 the FSX does NOT crash. But the game starts normal over my monitor and not over the vive.

    So….as the title says.
I managed to get it working for Alien: Isolation (Steam).
Arma 3 (Steam) does not even start, and when i try it with Flight Simulator X (non-Steam), i only have a black screen on my Vive and the Monitor, but the game is running (i can hear the sound).

I’m kinda pissed off. On the store page it sounded like it just plugs itself to all of those supported games, now it turns out that it works rather bad than good, at least for Vive owners from what i read here in this forum.

So, does anyone have an idea about Arma 3 and FSX?
I already disabled all possibly interfering hardware, HMD is in direct mode, and Steam VR and VorpX are running.

I saw that – I was going to – but the free demo only provides 15 minute flights before you have to buy.

So as it was VR implementation for an existing game I thought I’d look at VorpX as I’ve already bought it – and sure enough there Flight Simulator X is in the list of supported games.

I just wondered if it was still working – I bought rFactor2 because it was in the list of supported games but it didn’t work at all, although I believe this may be fixed in the next release.

Does anyone play Flight Simulator X in VorpX? I noticed it’s quite heavily reduced on Steam and thought I might give it a go if support in VorpX is good.

HI. Can anybody explain how to get Flight sim X to run on my Oculus DK2 ???

I can see the demo Table
I can see a funfair ride
I just can’t get flight sim to run, I get the title screen up on the DK2 but when I turn my head, the image is locked and so I can’t look around.

Doing lots of messing around, I have had the double image on my monitor and when I move the DK2, the image moves with them, but the DK2 is not displaying anything so I can’t see anything.

    Help please.

Hi all. A friend has lent me his Oculus Rift DK2 for a couple of weeks whilst he’s away.

I installed it on my computer to use it on Microsoft Flight Simulator X but couldn’t get it working. (the demo table top and also a funfair ride work alright) viewing around the internet, I found out about VORPX Which I ended up buying so I could do the flightsim.

I installed that and I am still getting know where, changing setting and portrait/landscape but still not working right.

I get a display of the desktop, but each eye is a different picture and only of the desktop.

    My computer is as follows.

    AMD Phenom 9750 Quad-Core Processor 2.40Hz
    Memory 8Gb
    64 bit operating system
    Running Windows 7

My graphics card is a Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 with four outputs two are the High Rez sockets and two are HDMI sockets

I use the flight sim on this setup and it works fine. I am just struggling to get it running on the DK2 ????

AS I have mentioned, I bought the VORPX program for £28.00 and I will be giving the DK2 back to my friend when he returns.

I just wanted to see what they looked like and whether I would then buy them and up to now with the demo ETC, I am quite impressed.

Does anybody have any idea’s and if you do, could you do a word for word help for me to follow, I am very good on computers, but this is slightly out of my depth.

    Many thanks all

Thanks Ralf… I am now set with 0.8.1.0 beta, followed the DK2 configuration (for Windows 8.1 so using extended desktop landscape flipped orientation as usual) and set VorpX to run as admin. Launched FSX and I am trying various windows + arrow key things to shift the display onto the Rift. Also tried running FSX in full screen mode as well as windowed, and windowed but maximized. After flight select/vehicle screen, and launch I can move the display over to the Rift but is not yet displaying full screen or in 3D. Best I managed was to see the two barrel Rift view screens on flat primary monitor with some combination of settings.. but could not shift it over to Rift.

I also tried various combinations including having the Rift as a primary display… that is a fun experience trying to get the task bar back and losing the mouse :-)

I wonder if any Flight Simulator X with DK2 user out there can give me the detailed recipe for this specific game?

It does, and I don’t remember seeing an option to map the controller options like that and I’ve tried various times of turning the rift and hoping to see something change in the game settings or in the vorpx menu, though perhaps I was doing it wrong. Regardless, I do have head tracking now in most games, trying to get head tracking in Test Drive Unlimited 2 and Flight Simulator X but haven’t been successful with them yet.

I’ve had no troubles with Dirt 3 or Borderlands Pre-Sequel, took a bit to get Skyrim and F1 2012/14 to work but they work now.

Adding OpenGL support would be great, especially for aerofly FS with its photorealistic graphics (unfortunately also OpenGL only).

X-Plane does not currently work with vorpX unfortunately, since it uses OpenGL to display the graphics. OpenGL support might be added later, but for now vorpX only supports DirectX9-11.

    Hi!

Is the VorpX support X-Plane 10 flight simulator with Oculus Rift?
