Think you might be wrong sorry about the redux version, here is a cut and paste:
    – Metro 2033 Redux (Z3D)
    – Metro: Last Light (G3D/Z3D)
    – Metro: Last Light Redux (Z3D)

    Regards

I tried last light redux before the update, couldn’t get geometry 3D to work, I could not get the game to run in DX9 mode so yeah, the changelog on vorpx website implies I am maent to not use the redux versions of metro in order to get geometry 3D.

    Thnaks for update Ralf,
I am having issues with Metro Last Light, it has a very bad smearing effect and it will not show G3d as an option as your games list says, in fact nether of the Z modes add 3d as when I turn them off their is no difference in the 3d??
    Regards

    Happy happy joy joy.

BTW .. Left 4 Dead 2 still has some minor glitches when there are objects for pickup in the room (not officially supported game yet I realize) but it has got to be one of the coolest things on Oculus with Vorpx I have seen yet (that short list includes Elite Dangerous). Friggin AWESOME! I set bilinear in L4D2 since trilinear and others make the interactive object flashing worse. Man when it is working it is SWEET! Perfect pace (lingering Zs and occasional mobs) and distances for Oculus too (5-15 virtual feet is great for 3D).

Thank you Ralf. Metro Last Light is looking nice! Happy Holidays indeed.

HUD: in my case, do not change with ui scale, sometimes I use the edge peek mode for ammo count, not perfect but playable option. Original Metro 2033 has little in the hud compared to the second part (Metroll)
metro 2033 I managed to complete 100% of the game in this way, I forgot to say that complete the game with the Xbox 360 pad for smooth turns and speed.

FOV: very good observation, thank you for this detail.

ralf try to communicate that the profile metro LL needs to DX9, to end the saga.but, for the moment I have no answer. hopefully it can be included in next update or simply to support the new version redux.
My Translator is a mess :)

yes none of the options work, including Z buffer, I would like to try the game in 3D.

can you rename the metroLL exe to metro2033.exe or whatever the name is called? se if that works

I would put r_base_fov 89 for FOV, that is 120 horizontal, do not put 90 or more, the FOV will reset.

any clues on how to move the hud into view, it shows ammo count which is useful in this game, did metro 2033 work with scaleUI?

is because DirectX11 no exist 3D geometry.
2d is playable, but not comparable to Metro 2033 with 3d geometry in directx9 mode.
Metro 2033 with DX9 was better experience for me.

even renaming .exe original LL metro DXHRDC.exe, despite 3d vorpx options menu appears, geometry 3d does not work well in DirectX11.
we can make comparison with 2033 meter 3d geometry DX9.

Today I am trying to run Metro Original ll DX9 and metro redux DX9 with vorpx, but for now I have no luck with either.
I have all the versions on steam valve platform.

I second that for Metro Last Light…stealth games are extremely enjoyable in VR. Metro Last Light is one of the best. Thanks Ralf.

I managed to try to rename Metro last light in DXHRDC.exe
Also I add r_base_fov 70 in all .cfg files
DirectX11 works but not satisfied with the experience.
in directx9, all the time display is black.
the game need its own profile, similar to Metro 2033, this works well with DX9.

Please ralph, profile could add this in the next update? is it can not promise, but at least try.

    yes,sorry my English :)

Metro LL only works in 2d.
need profile created by Ralph to activate geometry 3d.

Got Metro LL working, but the colors look strange. I am having a lot of moiré effects, especially in dark corners. Is there a solution beside adjusting only gamma?

I have made several attempts, but no luck.
    I renamed udk.exe UDK.exe dehr.exe DEHRDC.exe but no luck.

games that do not work with 3D geometry vorpx are:
Metro last light(2d only)or metro LL redux (no inject)
Dark Messiah of Might and Magic (2D only)
    deadfall adventures (no INJECT)

would be good profile in the next update

I tried it with vorpX yesterday. Unfortunately the game crahses, when it’s set to global illumination/dx11. But dx9 works, unfortunately not in g3d, it works only z-modes but looks good though.

On my actual pc with gtx660 and a Quad 2 Core it runs not supersmooth, but good enough. Haven’t tried it with a decreased FOV. The normal fov-setting is much to near.

@Ralf: any tip for running this game in dx11? Besides this I installed the Mod “Stalker Complete 2013”, works with dx9.

And at least: the game itself is even without vorpX very good, if you like fallout or Metro. And for 10 bucks, it should be no question to buy it. Peanuts! Have fun! ;-)
