hi.how i can get infos about updates?
will the programm vorpx inform me automaticly?or is there any newsletter option?
The procedure entry point SetDisplayConfig could not be located in the dynamic link library user32.dll
None of the exe.s work
then i looked here on the forum and read somewhere (which im unable to refind)
..maybe there is a patch or an update
So DCS, being a pure 64bit application as of the latest update, will simply not work with VorpX, no matter how hard I try?
Hi Wally,
The EdgePeek key will be made mappable to another key in an future update.
HL2: Please check your monitor settings. You can try to force output to a specific monitor via the vorpX Configuration program.
The safest monitor configuration though is setting Windows to Clone Mode and Use System Settings in the vorpX Config.
The website will be update with a current list in the next few days.
vorpX tries to apply itself to every DX9/DX10/DX11 game you start, regardless whether there is a profile for it or not, in which case an “Unsupported”-message is shown on startup.
If a game doesn’t load vorpX at all, it might either be no DX9-DX11 title or fail for various other reasons. Try several times if nothing happens. That can help sometimes.
You can also create special shortcuts, which might work better with some games than the automatic mode: right click on vorpX’s tray icon and select ‘Create Desktop Shortcut’. Then browse to the program you want to create the shortcut for and select it.
update 2: got a new activation code in my email. clearly the first time something must have gone wrong cause this is realy fast after my 2nd email. ;)
Update: I have send a new email with details on my problem to support.
Still no luck with Bioshock Inf. I’ve run out of ideas, updated nvidia driver to 327.23 (or something like that), re-installed vorpX, rebooted countless times, checked to make sure nothing else is running.
Each time the game starts and lasts approximately 30 seconds (i’ve timed it), if I click through the titles at the beginning I can sometimes get a few seconds of gameplay before it just CTDs, enough of a teaser to make it all the more frustrating, it’s nothing to do with my game save since I can get as far as in game. It is like vorpX is causing BI to expire after about 30 seconds whatever is going on. Nothing in the windows event log though.
Very odd (and disappointing!)
In my desperation to see Bioshock Inf. running on my rift, I am going to update my graphics drivers to 327.23, just in case that makes a difference. I’ll try this evening and report back.
I have a pretty vanilla system, with no additional injectors (I’ve made sure TriDef isn’t active) or directX dlls lying around, anything else like that going on, so I am struggling to see where the issue might lie. Attempts to attach a debugger to the bioshock process just saw it freezing, so I gave up on that for now.
I’ve provided vorpX support with my save games and some crash dumps, just in case they can use them to figure out this issue.
Ok thanks for the fast answer.
Just tried my Vorpx and get an error, after looking around it looks like it only runs on Win 7 and above?
Is there going to be an update for Vista as I didn’t read anywhere the specs for running Vorpx?
I don’t intend updating my PC for a while so is there any chance of a refund?
Updates are handled fully automatically.
No new activation code after updating of course.
Hi Ralf,
how will you handle updates?
Will we need to download a new setup?
Or is there an update function?
Is a new activation code needed after each update?
Thank you
Those Bioshock Infinite reports make me really sad. Its such beautiful game with the Rift. Unfortunately I’m not able to reproduce something like this and for others who posted here it seems to work fine too. Such things are hard to track down… Might this somehow be location dependent? Maybe someone can provide me with a savegame. Might be a long shot, but is worth a try.
Thanks, your genuinely expressed sadness for your product not functioning on our machines is at least appreciated. But, your sadness aside, having not seen any updates here for a possible future fix, is that kind of the end of the line then? Is a fix no longer being pursued?
In my case, I hadn’t tinkered at all with my machine prior, (it’s only a few months old) and everything was working without vorpX installed. Since installing, I’ve tried everything suggested here, but nothing’s preventing vorpX from it’s thus far unfailing track record for crashing Bioshock Inf. without exception.
So, would you suggest those for whom vorpX is non-functioning by this point, just go ahead, throw up our hands and gracefully accept the unfortunate technical reality that we don’t get to use this purchase… and then start your refund process?
