Topic: Immersive mode fps WRC 9
Hey all, I’m trying to play WRC in Immersive Mode.
In 2d I can play it with almost all details to the max, I9 2080 Super, but in Vorpx Immersive Mode the fps takes a HUGE hit.I can only get stable 90fps with my G2 reverb when setting the game resolution to 1920×1080, set supersamplink in SteamVR to 70% and even then I have to set graphic details to medium.
The difficult thing about figuring out what is causing this hit is that I now have settings in VorpX, SteamVR and within the game itself.
So I was hoping maybe someone already figured out what is causing huge fps hits in Immersive mode in general?
Topic: WRC9
Hello, I tried the cloud profiles for WRC8 and also launching from scratch. Vorpx launches but I can’t get any 3d effect in immersive mode. How would I go about getting it to work. I’m pretty new to vorpx so any pointers would be awesome. Thanks.
Topic: WRC 8
Added an updated WRC 8 profile, it uses immersive screen mode & z-adaptive, been having an absolute blast playing it with Vorpx.
Optional – Once in game pause & go to gameplay settings then to camera settings & adjust the cockpit view to whatever you prefer, i only slightly changed my height to -0.020 & position to 0.030, i left angle & FOV at default.

Sniper Elite V2 (G3D)

I’ve re-imagined this old cinema profile for a more FullVR experience. Having larger world scale and the scope right up to your eyes now makes it more immersive. I’ve also fixed some 3D effects so bullet cam destruction and slow-mo explosions look better.
If you rely on HUD info, cinema mode will be the better option though. For a better cinema experience, reduce vorpX FOV Enhancement and Height Modifier both to zero. You can also enable shadows and effects that were disabled for FullVR (toggle vorpX Shadow Treatment).
– exclude SniperV2Launcher.exe in vorpX config (don’t hook the Launcher)
– use a 16:9 resolution (2560×1440)*For Cinema mode, reduce vorpX FOV Enhancement and Height Modifier to zero
*vorpX Shadow Treatment optional for Cinema mode
*Increase bullet cam occurrence in game settings
*Close game with Alt+F4 (exit from menu may hard-lock Steam)————————————-
Sniper Elite 3 (G3D)

This one is also primed for FullVR in similar fashion, looking even better. Because of strange character model leg cropping, I had to raise the vorpX camera a significant amount. It looks good this way, but you’ll need to factor in about 10 inches above your intended target to compensate. So aim your crosshairs a tad high with all weapons.
As with V2, you can also use cinema mode for better HUD awareness and enable Shadow Treatment effects. Don’t forget to reduce FOV Enhancement and Height Modifier to zero.
– exclude Sniper3Launcher.exe in vorpX config app (don’t hook the Launcher)
– use a 16:9 resolution (2560×1440)*For Cinema mode, reduce vorpX FOV Enhancement and Height Modifier to zero
*vorpX Shadow Treatment optional for Cinema mode
*Increase bullet cam occurrence in game settingsEnjoy the bone-shattering 3D. Looking forward to attempt SE4 next time it goes on sale.
Here’s a couple neat Unity engine experiences that now have working G3D thanks to the update. Check them out, they’re free!
T-Rex Breakout (G3D)
Raptors in the Kitchen (G3D)

– native 1920 x 1200 worked best for me. Other resolutions broke 3D
– to highlight and select offset menu text, explore far left edge with cursor
– to begin Survival Kitchen demo, click the menu picture on the rightI’ve added profiles on the cloud, however both have visible culling due to forced fov enhancement. So if anyone knows how to adjust fov properly for Unity games, this could be better.
Fullvr is default (headtracking), but cinema mode is possibly better looking for mouse and keyboard play. Try both ways. Enjoy.
